@DHKJR3@NormEisen@DDAction_ He didn’t win. There was no counter party to win against. He dropped the lawsuit because it was clear he was going to lose, and then he and his personal lawyer drew up a “settlement”. It’s beyond absurd and corrupt and not even the spineless Republicans are letting it happen.
@DHKJR3@NormEisen@DDAction_ The IRS didn’t release any info. It was stolen by a contractor illegally, for which he is in jail. Hopefully there are better safeguards now, but how many billions do the other hundreds of thousands of people get not named Trump? Is their released information less important?
@DHKJR3@NormEisen@DDAction_ It was his own administration that this happened under! He sued his own govt that he runs and that was responsible for the leak. The judge was clearly going to rule against him, so he dropped the suit so that his own DOJ could just give him money instead. And you support this?
@DHKJR3@NormEisen@DDAction_ He dropped the lawsuit because the judge was going to throw it out. Instead, his own DOJ settled outside of any lawsuit. In essence, he settled with himself. There is no counter party, there is no suit.
@mrddmia "WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again,"
One guess as to who said this.
@BogeymanJcc@PeteHegseth@DeptofWar Is it treason for the President to say the same thing? Or how about for SecDef to publicly testify as such?

@stephen_richer While the richest do pay a large share of the total, they also get a lot of loopholes.
“A study by White House economists found that the 400 wealthiest U.S. families paid an average income tax rate of just 8.2 percent from 2010 to 2018.”

@Newstart1962@WeldonToms@TheRealBMac7@JeremyTColes@Ecnerwal23 It doesn’t matter if the base of the ball isn’t touching the line. If the side of it is still vertically over the line, it’s fair. The umpire has a better view than any of these camera angles.
@micnorian14@sciencegirl Angled back cuts are not intelligent. You’re creating shear stress on the hinge, and you can see in the video that the hinge failed and the base slid right down the angled cut.
@paulrubens What mental gymnastics you have to perform to put this at Obama’s feet instead of the current resident of the WH, who abandoned the deal that kept Iran in check. Leaving the deal meant that eventually war would be the only possible outcome.
That’s on Trump.
@CameronTousi@FareedZakaria Trump has shown nothing but contempt, and sometimes worse, for our allies. And then he expects them to show up at a moment’s notice, when they weren’t consulted, to clean up his mess? He ignored the threat to the world economy when he started this war. It’s his mess to fix.
@gummibear737 If they have no missiles or navy, how did they close it?
If they surrendered, how did they just close it again?
I think most non gummi bears would say nothing about the current situation insinuates “victory”.
@wolftivy Actually, if some entity was intent on fraud (which there’s little valid evidence significant fraud exists), the electoral college potentially allows just a few thousand votes in a state or two to change the outcome of an election.
@HirschfeldVP They also came up with the idea that some specific humans were worth 3/5ths of others. The founders did some great things and some horrible things.
Ideas can be improved upon. That’s the whole point of the amendment process.
@Ogresgarage@mamacita4life2 And the heat capacity of insulators is generally very low. So even if it could transfer enough heat to boil water, it would do so slowly and would only boil a small amount. Probably not enough to see any steam in a chaotic environment even if it was at max temp (which it’s not).
@Ogresgarage@mamacita4life2 It’s not that the dissipate heat, which would be bad actually for the underlying materials to the heat shield. It’s just that the tiles are extremely good insulators - meaning they don’t conduct heat well to adjacent materials. That’s why you could grab them with bare hands.
