Officer Krystal Rivera was shot and killed last night at 82nd and Drexel while attempting to arrest multiple men with guns
She was a 36 year old single mom, caring for a young daughter, hired in 2021. She was quoted as saying

"For me, it’s a privilege,' she said. “I come from a family of serving. To help people in need, that’s my calling.”
