@levie Great point. When you look for work to use agents, look for work that is logic-bound because that's the part that can be accelerated. I/O bound work especially with human interaction will not benefit from acceleration.

When you onerously tax and penalize your society’s producers, the ones who build wealth/obtain assets, you are disincentivizing people from trying. You are destroying the middle class and The American Dream ™️

If people realize they will be penalized for building wealth, they’ll just settle and be poor. Why try? With welfare programs and proposed UBI, there’s never been a better time to give up.

This is our fear with Democrat policy, and even something as ridiculous and nonsensical as taxing unrealized gains (which we think is put in as a negotiation tool to take out later). They are fostering a culture of complacency and a culture of docility. A country does not thrive when its citizens are servile minded.

It works if you’re trying to build a global feudal system of consumers and a small group of providers, but it does not work if you value self esteem and your own communities.
