@kalmedown@sattyyouneed Apples and oranges. One is an agent in the cloud and the other is your own hardware. To be honest I haven’t used not used the cloud stuff from cursor yet so I might like it more once I try it.
@designwkarthick I switched to Cursor from codex and they definitely have an inferior product but if you planned on getting their competitions frontier models at subsidized rates you just didn’t understand the product before buying. I just wanted to try grokbot.
@tibor_tee@brandonjkingg It’s not great for coding because coding as a use case burns way too many tokens. Wish I knew that before getting to 90% usage. Now I have 3 days left before the reset and I’m basically not using it beyond the daily cr9’s I have set up. Really sucks.
@anitakirkovska I am. Out of curiosity and I’ve wanted to try cursor for some time now and try grok 4.6 as my main driver so this seems like a good time to test it out.
@thsottiaux Predefined agents. I’m sure it was a deliberate choice to only have skills but what grokbot is doing with agent personas that talk to each other has me cancelling my subscription for a month to try it out. Along with exploring cursor of course for development.
