@DeepakVisva Hey I hope it's a good initiative... coimbatore has more or less similar weather like bangalore and also has weekend getaways like Pune...to be honest it is better than Hyderabad...also it can develop by leaps & bounds ...govt needs to take initiative to make it a tier 1 city

Not a good analysis. Misses the point entirely on value addition for each sector of the economy, value addition by workforce. TN is stuck in low value addition in highly automated industry, does not create enough high income jobs to boost consumption- stuck in low orbit. Just like Gujarat. The key is sectoral composition of value addition
