people get so offended when i don’t wanna trauma bond or tell them my business. i’m not about to expose myself just to make you feel close to me. if oversharing is how you build friendships, that’s you. keep me out of it.
STAY AWAY from folks who don't value the small sacrifices you make. like spending money you barely got, pulling up when you tired, giving advice, carrying their problems, or being the one who always checks in first. Some people only love the benefits, never the person. They'll use your energy just to go pour it into everybody but the one who's actually helping them.
I watched my bestfriends get close to other people and count me out. I’ve seen my friends sit and chill with people that don’t fuck with me, so don’t come at me asking me why i don’t have many friends or always look annoyed. I like to chill on my own.
Some men don't want a woman they can build a life with. They want a woman who will make their lives easier while putting her own needs aside.
She should understand him, support him, encourage him, forgive him, and stand by him through difficult times. But when she needs the same treatment, suddenly she's asking for too much.
Some men want the benefits of a partnership without accepting the responsibilities that come with one.
So many friendships have been ruined because one person told a story about you, and no one ever thought to ask you for your side. It’s crazy how fast people will believe a lie about you when they were already looking for an excuse to misjudge you.
People hear “high standards” and immediately think money. I think integrity, emotional maturity, consistency, and self respect. You can have all the money in the world and still be an absolutely terrible person.
She must be this. She must do that. She must never. She must always. What does he bring? He brings himself. He is there. That is the contribution. The detail only exists on the receiving side.
Some men don’t want a wife. They want a woman who will play the role of a wife while they continue living like a bachelor.
Cook for me. Clean for me. Raise my children. Be loyal to me. Understand me. Support me financially when necessary. Satisfy me sexually.
But don’t question me. Don’t expect too much. Don’t disturb my peace.
They want a woman to carry the responsibilities of marriage while they enjoy the freedom of being single.
And when she finally gets tired, they call her selfish.
i don’t believe in friendships that require constant access. we’re both grown with separate lives, responsibilities, moods, and shit going on. let’s enjoy each other without all the unnecessary expectations and entitlement.
people will use the worst moment of your life to discredit every good thing you’ve ever shown them. apparently your kindness is fake but your anger is the real you.
@TheOnlineBigBro Well some people love to be on defensive or gaslight when you address something to them. So sometimes there’s no other choice but to be non-confrontational. And 98% people know exactly what they’re doing so i’d rather cut them off when i don’t see change in their behaviour.
Cutting people off because of how they consistently choose to perceive you is actually incredibly valid.
I have no interest in maintaining relationships with people who filter everything I say or do through a negative lens. Constantly being misunderstood, misinterpreted, or viewed with suspicion is exhausting, and trying to prove your intentions to someone committed to seeing the worst in you is a huge waste of time.
Men nowadays want you to prove your worth to them in order for them to treat you right. That’s the worst mindset to have with me cause I’m not auditioning for treatment I know I deserve. The minute you pursued me was the minute you knew my worth. Don’t play.
