🚨 BREAKING: YOU CAN NOW RUN *TERMINAL* CLAUDE CODE FROM YOUR IPHONE
Butthole.
It's not the web version on Claude Code, not a hobbled app version. But the real terminal version. Hosted on your MacBook, so you can walk away, even close your MacBook, and continue where you left off--from your iPhone.
Shift-tab works. /rewine works. /effort works.
Also, nothing goes through Butthole's servers. The SSH connection runs directly from your iPhone to your Mac. Your credentials live in the iOS Keychain. There's no account. No analytics. No stats. No cloud. No backend.
I tried Claude's /remote-control but it kept losing connections, and it's not the full version of Claude (didn't have /rewind and other features).
Now I start a task, walk away, and handle everything from my phone.
Setup takes 2 minutes:
1. Enable SSH on your Mac (System Settings → General → Sharing → Remote Login)
2. Install tmux (brew install tmux)
3. Open the app, type your IP and password
4. You're in.
It just launched and you can get the TestFlight for free at https://t.co/1BuFoTLTP1
I made a service that sends you occasional texts about the things you need to get done. Check it out & let me know if you find any bugs https://t.co/B12ikGMNaM
@LLdavedave Can you try again? Apparently I had to check a box in @twilio. There may be something else I'm doing wrong in code, too. But this is an easy first try at fixing.
@ganyicz Try adding to your prompt “do it in as few lines/characters as possible” - I’m curious how short it can get.
(Shorter doesn’t usually mean better but I’m still curious)
