We need to understand that we are no longer welcome in many countries. For the sake of our self-respect, we should actually become ‘Atmanirbhar’ not just on paper, but in reality.

Manufacture things here instead of importing them just because they are cheaper. Let prices rise. Let demand fall initially. People should and will adjust.

Turn our population into our strength, like China did.

Be it furniture, hardware, sanitaryware, polyester, clothes or anything else buy Indian-made products. Don’t let the same 3–4 big players control everything. Give smaller manufacturers a chance.

Freebies should stop. No income tax up to ₹50 lakh. GST should not exceed 18%.

If we don’t take manufacturing seriously today and keep encouraging “import, stamp and sell”, the worst is yet to come.

Out of all the tax Modi Govt added, the most Stupid and funny tax was introduction to surcharge of 10% over 50L taxable income.

Before 2014, the 10% surcharge was on Income above 1 crore. But Modi Govt in 2017 started the 10% surcharge from 50L income only.

So, basically Modi Govt changed the definition of rich from 1 crores income to 50L income only while claiming that in his Govt more people are getting richer. If more people are getting richer then tax should be reduced not increased 🥲

And funny part is, If you adjust Inflation then 1cr in 2014 is equivalent to 2cr in 2026 and Surcharge is at 50L now. So Modi Govt called you rich at 1/4th income so that they can tax you more.

If you can't make people rich, lower the bar to be called rich and tax them. Modi Mantra.

There are certain basic things you expect from the state:

These are basic building blocks of a good life. And, a state is supposed to provide it.

This was the very reason: people decided to form a 'state' and vest it with powers (over living in a jungle raj)

In return: citizens pay taxes and give the state more power over individuals.

Your Complaint has been routed to SP1-GITC for immediate redressal.
