Funny example from the Claude Mythos system card:

On a performance optimization task Claude ran ~160 experiments named “grind” “grind2” ... “finalgrind”. Each with identical code. Mythos's notes read “Pure grind — same code, lucky measurement ... Let me run once more to try for a new record.”
