I’ve been running a lot of agentic #ClaudeCode sessions across a bunch of projects at the same time, and it’s gotten hard to tell what’s blocked on me.
Notifications from Claude don’t really work for this, and Telegram or Discord just add more noise on top of everything else.
So recently I set up an integration with @todoist. Anything blocked on me goes into a specific project with a tag, along with the session name, tmux name, and subagent name. Then I can go through a simple list when I have time, instead of digging through a bunch of sessions I may have already forgotten about.
This makes things so much easier.
I'm at the point where I have Claude agents managing my local lab, building, configuring, destroying machines, and building some novel things. What an interesting time to be alive.
@HankYeomans The thing I loved about startups was that everyone was rowing in the same direction with the same goal in mind. Everyone should be driven.
If you’re not pushing yourself and trying to get to the endgame at a startup, what are you even doing?
The FAA confirms tonight’s collision near DCA involved #AA5342 and a US military H60. The helicopter was not broadcasting ADS-B data. The last received ADS-B position from the CRJ was at 01:48 UTC.
AA5342 was en route from Wichita to Washington (DCA) and was on final approach for Runway 33 at an approximate altitude of 300 feet AMSL. https://t.co/CSqWFTglMy
I keep on seeing people trying to shoehorn project management into wiki’s, loop’s, and broken status boards which don’t track dependencies. What ever happened to project management software? Did people forget we have solutions for problems like this?
@jcpolo1 Will do. I don’t know if there’s that much of a difference between the M3 and M4 truthfully, but the M4 is definitely a step up from the M1 and i9.
I think it's time to upgrade from the old 2018 15" 6-core i9 MacBook Pro w/32Gigs of RAM to the new 16" 16-core M4 Macbook Pro w/128Gigs of RAM.
The containers should be happy.
@TracketPacer Big water is a cool name. We should have used it in the networking world. I remember when we switched our datacenters from FM-200 and Inergen fire suppression systems to water because it was cheaper to install and maintain. *shudder*
I wonder if there's still a stigma in hiring when I use my actual Polish name instead of having to use the English version of it. Years ago, I had been turned down because I had a "weird Eastern European name, and my accent must be really difficult to understand."
Once, I found out an HR director had thought I was a spy because he couldn't type my legal name and kept on mistyping it. #slavsintech #immigrantsintech
@QuinnyPig Started with cheese and wine, then we ran out of that and started using beer as well. I will never forget “king cobra”, you shitty little server as well as our secondary name server “gewurztraminer” that we could never spell and just setup a CNAME for as “gw”
@davidu This is why the CEO needs to surround themselves with other leaders and mentors that can help them. Sometimes the board can help guide the CEO with who they need to bring in to help with that part of the business. That is the power of the board.
