@TheMuppetPastor A lot that I've come across hold the weakest, most easily disproven views possible. They don't feel any need to defend these points, instead pretending that they already won out in the ether, and all they really have to do is insult or act shocked until their opponents submit.
@fandompulse Star Trek was always at its worst when it decided to get preachy.
It was much better when it was actually willing to honestly show both sides of a difficult issue and let the audience make their own judgments.
