@CleverIv @airline_king @jack_stjames UA does offer same day confirmed change, but it requires elite status and/or luck that same fare class is available.

In my experience, WN is simpler to comprehend and generally more widely available.

It's definitely nice that UA runs ±24h rather than WN's calendar day though.

@airline_king @jack_stjames I also would hazard that those who can qualify for their companion pass also value it highly... unlimited partner fares for taxes+fees while active. And with their biannual promo windows, you can get 4mos of coverage for the equivalent of 2 round trips.
