I usually don’t care about the opinion of Political Beth Moore, because I don’t like hearing the Daily Wire twice.
But here’s a fun fact: Had the Jews spit on a Christian pilgrim in front of their assigned Janissary guard under Ottoman Rule- like what regularly happens today in Jerusalem - they’d have been beaten within an inch if their life, and if they survived, fined. By comparison, Israel doesn’t prosecute it because “it’s a cherished ancient Jewish custom.”
The Ottomans conquered a Palestine with 20% Christians, and 400 years later, there were 20% Christians. The Status Quo they established was adopted by Europe and preserved even after their reign ended. The Millet system protected them from Jewish violence, land confiscation, and property forfeiture. It exempted them from military service and exempted the elderly, disabled, widows, and children, and churches from taxation. It emphasized Holy Site preservation, established their legal protection, and on occasion, chipped in for repair.
All facts.
Outside Palestine, and outside that era, they were brutes, and perhaps - in certain eras - just as violent as the IDF is today. None of that excuses or diminishes their atrocities.
Meanwhile, after 77 years of Jewish rule, the Israelis have managed to accomplish what 400 years of Muslim rule could not - the utter collapse of indigenous Christianity in Palestine.
In Gaza, the IDF has murdered FAR more Christians than Hamas. In Lebanon, they’ve killed FAR more than Hezbollah. They bombed churches the Ottomans protected. They taxed congregations to whom the Ottomans gave protected status.
When Israelis defend their genocide, they point at Hitler. When Israelis defend bombing churches, they point at Nagasaki. When Israelis defend Lehava and La Familia burning down Jewish churches, beating Christian clergy, and intimidating nuns, they point at Boko Haram in Nigeria.
Thing is, my taxes don’t fund Boko Haram’s militia, Hitler is dead, and God will deal with the U.S. dropping a nuke down the chimney of the church headquarters in Asia. None of that can be stopped by an act of the U.S. Congress.
Sadly, there are brainless twits auditioning for a guest spot on the Jeremy Boreing Israeli Infomercial Hour who don’t give a single heartless damn about persecuted Christians going extinct in the Holy Land. Whether or not Jesus’ followers “have a right to exist” will not be on the questions list.
After reminding the church that believing Gentiles are the real children of Abraham, and that only Christians inherit God’s promises, Paul tells them to bear the burdens of their fellow Christians (Galatians 6:2).
Not Jews. Not Muslims. Not Buddhists. CHRISTIANS. We shoulder THEIR burdens, and God will one day hold us accountable for funding the nation that has made Christians an endangered species in the Promised Land.
When Christian churches are burned down by Jewish settlers, they don’t complain.
When Israel refuses to investigate and prosecute, they speak not a word.
When churches are told - out of the blue - the properties they’ve held for millennia will be confiscated if they don’t cough up millions in “back taxes” they’ve gone 17 centuries without being charged, they don’t speak up.
When the same churches are bombed 2,3,4 times for no discernible reason, they look the other way.
When nuns in a full habit are sniped in the head with a .308, they don’t care.
When Bethlehem is surrounded and squeezed on three sides to bankrupt and starve its Christian inhabitants, they don’t notice.
And when the Indigenous Christians who were there when the first Israeli prime ministers were still on Europe’s Most Wanted terrorist lists, tell us in official statements through their Patriarchs that they had it better under the Ottoman Millet System, then suddenly they get very interested in Christian persecution in other eras, times, and places to distract you from the reality of that cold, hard, immovable fact.
As a Native American I’m a little offended that the 14th Amendment didn’t grant us citizenship until Congress passed an exception for us. Meanwhile, a CCP spy can fly to Guam, drop a baby and fly home with the baby who qualifies to run for president 35 years later.

Can we debunk this nonsense?
Elon Musk was awarded (note: not given) cost-per-result contracts to perform a service for the US government. The total of those for SpaceX specifically is ~$22B, which includes repaid loans, state tax incentives, etc.
The deal was simple: put stuff into LEO at or below a set cost. If SpaceX does it below the set cost, SpaceX keeps the difference. If it doesn’t, the company is responsible for the overrun.
End result? SpaceX & Elon lowered the cost of getting 1 kg into LEO by 95-97% vs what NASA was paying previously.
And for the record, every other company around at the time was offered the same opportunity to bid on the contract - Musk/SpaceX just took it.
The handout narrative implies the taxpayer is the patron and SpaceX the dependent. The cost data shows the opposite: before SpaceX, NASA paid Russia’s Soyuz $80-86M per seat; SpaceX delivered at ~$55 million. SpaceX saved the US taxpayer $300M-$465M each year on that alone (the US sends 12-15 astronauts to space each year)
On the lunar lander, NASA estimated SpaceX’s fixed-price bid saved $20B-$30B vs the Boeing-preferred cost-plus approach.
So: SpaceX saved the US taxpayer more than the total value of contracts it earned on a single project, PLUS provided the US government with the requested services (put stuff in LEO) at the best possible price.
A wise man once said, if you want to hate America, watch the news. If you want to love America, drive across it.
These European World Cup tourists are experiencing the REAL America for the first time: not New York City or LA, but middle America and all its hospitality. 🇺🇸
I hate to break it to you - but the United States is an absolute, incoherent shitshow.
The idea that we have ‘representative government’ is ridiculous. If that were true we would not have wasted billions killing Iranians for no reason at all. Some people wanted this - but the voters who elected this government did not.
Let’s go further. When Trump goes to China - he brings our ‘great billionaires’ with him. I can’t think of any more obvious symbol that we live in an oligarchy that does everything it can to manipulate outcomes - and that voting is a bit of a joke. It’s like he’s bringing with him ‘the ruling elite.’ Because that is what he did.
We have at least 40 million illegal aliens living here. Our business ‘leaders’ engineered this by bribing politicians to keep the border open - because they wanted to pay low wages and make mucho $$ for themselves. When people objected because their incomes were falling - the business leaders accused them of racism and funded Barack Obama to become POTUS.
The USA is $40 trillion in debt - and no one has a plan to solve that problem. Absolutely no one. This will blow up one day - and it will destroy normal people who save in dollars - because the unspoken plan is to destroy the currency and save the rich and destroy the rest. But people who own our homes - like Blackstone or Blackrock - won’t care because their assets will follow inflation. Everyone else will be reduced to paupers renting from them - their bank accounts gone.
The United States today is hopelessly dysfunctional. It lacks a coherent population that can even agree on anything. It is bankrupt - but the rest of the world is propping it up because they are also scared of what happens when the dollar collapses. It doesn’t have any smart leaders - and we have to watch insiders doing oil trades to make $$ on the Iran war - and the administration itself sells shit coins. Our foreign policy is a total joke - not strategic in any way at all. It is driven by special interests, and then not even followed through. And people are actuality making money on it - pump and dump coming straight from the White House.
This is a hell of a way to celebrate 250 Years! At least we can have a cage match on the White House lawn that degrades our entire history and underscores just how bad and ridiculous things are!
Thank you for your attention to this matter! Enjoy the circus! If you’re lucky you will be dead when the music stops!
Oh yes, I remember that Bond film where the villain decarbonized the auto industry, brought fast internet to everyone on the planet, and helped paralyzed people interact with the world again.
The message of a protest is "we don't like this".
The message of a riot is "we don't like this, and we're able to do something about it".
People who unconditionally call for peace and calm, regardless of the provocation, don't fundamentally understand how politics works in the real world.
They do understand that the purpose of politics is to provide an alternative to violence, but that's as far as their understanding goes. They don't think through the implications, usually because they are quite comfortable with things as they are.
If politics is an alternative to violence, then politics is a proxy for violence.
And that means you have to dole out power in proportion to capacity for violence. Or someone's going to figure out they can do better by flipping the table.
Monarchy wasn't replaced by democracy because of fine-sounding philosophical ideals and eloquent documents declaring this or that.
Democracy happened because if you added rifling to the flintlock firearm, suddenly a individual farmer with a tube was the pinnacle of military technology, and now you had to keep all the farmers with tubes happy by giving them political power.
(Ancient Greek democracy had a similar relationship with the hoplite warrior.)
When political systems work well, for a while, the violence they represent becomes further and further from people's minds, and those who can't effectively commit or direct violence worm their way into power, and begin to take it away from those who can.
And they'll defend their position by saying that violence is unthinkable, barbaric, always bad, must be disavowed at all costs, etc.
This isn't some sort of high-minded principle on their part. It simply means one of two things. Either "the status quo works for me, so I don't want you to upset it", or "I suck at violence, and I don't want to have to fight".
They want young men demoralized, so that their artificial meritocracy of spreadsheets, or their non-meritocracy of patronage networks, can be protected from the natural meritocracy of conflict.
This means that riots aren't actually for achieving any specific material aim. They are for reminding the comfortable that judges and bureaucrats and policemen have home addresses and families. And that violence is always on the table.
A protest would only send the message that the Irish don't want to be ethnically cleansed. But the bureaucrats and judges and lawyers already know that. They just don't care.
A riot reminds them that they have to care, because the Irish have a long tradition of doing something about it.
I also think what we’re seeing with the British and American public are people who have been incredibly generous for many decades. They HAVE welcomed many many foreigners.
And if you look at Ilhan Omar, you see how that generosity is so often repaid. With ingratitude, entitlement, and smears about systemically racist systems even as they leap to the front of the line in social programs and college admittance over native populations that happen to have white skin.
So no, they don’t want to welcome more foreigners in. People tend to feel less generous when their generosity is unappreciated.
we live in age of great moral panics about things that don’t matter and zero moral outrage over some of the most egregious societal sins we’ve ever seen
The Venn diagram between people who think you should get fired for using the R word and people who think you should be able to euthanize your child if it has Down syndrome is almost a circle
What’s worse than the idea of taking care of a 40 year-old when you’re in your 70s is the idea of standing before Jesus Christ after you die and having to atone for the fact that you unrepentantly conducted premeditated murder on one of your God-given children in the name of more free time and fun in your old age.
Everyone who’s sympathetic to the idea of doing such a thing simply doesn’t believe they will meet their maker at the end of their life, so they opt into the hedonistic option of doing what feels good and running from what doesn’t feel good. That’s the core issue at the heart of this whole debate.
Yep.
The number of Black midshipmen at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy plummeted under @PeteButtigieg.
The DEI theater distracted leadership and money from basic facility maintenance. Black candidates with strong SATs walked the campus, saw plastic forks, porta-poties, a flooded basement gym and cold showers, and asked the obvious question: why would I take this when I have a stack of full scholarships from real colleges?
White candidates showed up anyway, because Kings Point was the only school offering them free tuition.
That is the whole story. Performative diversity programs at the top, broken plumbing at the bottom, and the most competitive Black recruits walking straight out the door to schools that actually invested in their campus.
DEI did not lift them. It literally chased them off.
One of the most frustrating dynamics of modern military discourse is the experiential chasm between two types of people:
1. those who have suffered moral injury in uniform
2 those who have not
It is two groups completely separated by a common language.
The former understands the latter.
The latter does not and cannot understand the former.
Those who haven’t suffered moral injury judge those who have harshly. Seeing them as defective even.
Those who have suffered know that’s not true. Yet have to gaze frustratingly at a cohort that simply doesn’t get it, yet.
We’d do well to remember that for two centuries, most of our greatest military leaders suffered these injuries in one way or another.
Only in the last half century has the elevation of the unscarred been the norm.
For the blemish that once made men great, is now the very thing marks them defective to a system that prioritizes perfection.
And that is how you create a culture of dishonesty. Protecting the illusion of perfection is a motivator that cannot be ignored any longer.
i've been warning my neighbors for years that the family living on the hill was dangerous. finally two of us had our buddies knock on their front door and say they wanted to "talk," while we started shooting their kids in the backyard. then these monsters started shooting BACK at us.
i hate to say i told you so but c'mon
