Moving on from the viral video notice the lockstep spin from Sinn Féin, Alliance and the SDLP calling it an “attack on democracy”…….when they pushed City of Sanctuary through with no public consultation.

SDLP said at a NMDDC meeting they spoke to everyone who contacted them.. lies. They ignored my emails and texts and refused to attend the Newry public meeting or rally. They cry “misinformation” but can’t name any. No one ever claimed the council controls immigration.

City of Sanctuary isn’t an anti-bullying policy, it’s an NGO accreditation scheme to build a lobbying network of councils.

If they truly believed in democracy they’d have asked the public in a consultation. They didn’t….because they knew the wouldn’t like the answer.

And one question remains: who actually brought this proposal forward?

We were told that our pension age was increasing to 67yrs because it was no longer sustainable & yet these same people are now paying out £billions to people that have not paid a penny into this country.

If that’s not bad enough they expect us to now find even more money in the next budget because they’ve got no money left.

How does this Government not understand why this is so wrong on so many levels & that we are not happy with this.

It’s time that this government listened to the people & start putting us first for a change.

These politicians couldn’t care less about the people they govern because they are only in it for themselves.

It’s time this government were made accountable for what they are doing.
