Vital social media marketing skill no one tells you about:
You need to be both completely confident in your strategy and willing to pivot from it at a moment's notice.
It could all go south fast. You need to be able to see that.

Even though many see me speaking, podcasting, and doing events on the socials, I'm still looking for opportunities (FT marketing roles, long-term sponsorships, and brand collabs)
So, if you're interested or want to refer me, DM me so I can share my portfolio & resume with you!
I love emotionally mature people who don't mind solitude because they befriend themselves, enjoy their own company, can be alone without feeling lonely, and don't need to be with others to escape or fill their inner void.
More layoffs happening across this industry. Same “headwinds” and “changes in consumer habits” being blamed.
Anyway, @worklife_news is looking for a reporter if you’re on the hunt for a new gig.
@NoRiskaNoReward@JuliaBramble@KateBour You're referring to people using many chat to automate sending links to followers. I totally hate this too but I can't blame creators for this one - they do it as a reaction to platforms not liking people using "link in bio" (as your content often gets supressed if you use that)
"How is the breast acceptable when selling clothing through sex appeal suddenly too provocative when it denotes what the breast is biologically used for?"
I share my thoughts in my latest for @Adweek.

@SoniaBaschez@nbaschez Whereas in LA (for tech at least) the main difference was the mood. People are so much more relaxed in LA. The hustle culture is different in LA too. Still a hustle, but just more relaxed.
@SoniaBaschez@nbaschez I think the best way to describe it is akin to what people feel when they move to LA to pursue acting. It's a culture shift/vibe shift. There's a lot of figuring out who you can really trust, there's a lot of misogyny (she's a woman.) Overall she's happy, but it's an adjustment.
