@lewis_goodall This! I would usually vote labour, but it became clear that LD was polling well and the most important thing for me was to get the Cons out. Both Labour & LD candidates seemed like they would make great MPs that care about local issues- there wasn’t much to call it on.

@Waringphilip @IanDunt I live in North Shropshire. I would be over the moon to have an MP with the experience and integrity of those mentioned above. But, I do think it’s important to consider the context of a mostly rural patch and wonder if someone local would better understand those challenges.

Once Harold Shipman’s crimes came to light, palliative care in the NHS was fundamentally changed. An entire institution altered the way it dealt with patients because of one “bad apple”. The Met have known the details of this case for 6 months. They have no excuse.
