The first step is to understand the void that this creation truly is, & then use that understanding to detach & renounce the mind.
The fundamental energy that gave rise to universe will continue to exist even after it dissolves. The void is not nothingness. It is reality itself.
If you have made enough money to survive till death & leave some behind (if that matters) then your single pointed focus should be at answering the big questions 1) Why am I here 2) Does god exists 3) What after death ...and so on. Rest all is waste of time, isn't it?
@naval Always be suspicious of the "stories" in which you conveniently emerge as the hero. The source is ego. Damm it's so difficult to escape that trap.
@naval What is our eventual goal for humanity? Can we all agree for it? Will we always drive it in agreed direction? If no then there will always be fears around it and "misuse" will be perceived.
Earth is just one of about 100 billion planets in our galaxy, which is just one of about two trillion galaxies in the universe. And our lifetimes are only about 1/3,000 of humanity's existence, which itself is only 1/20,000 of the Earth's existence.
In other words, we are unbelievably tiny and short-lived and no matter what we accomplish, our impact will be insignificant.
At the same time, we instinctually want to matter and to evolve, and we can matter a tiny bit--and it's all those tiny bits that add up to drive the evolution of the universe. #principleoftheday
The oldest pandemic in human history is not disease, poverty, or war it's desire. Humanity has solved countless external problems, but we still remain afflicted by an internal one: the endless list of desires. Tech can chng our circumstances, but it has not cured dissatisfaction
@bhogleharsha@drmsbc waiting at ypr station for 20653. No announcement on when it will come. Already 1 hour beyond its arrival time. If the source station itself has no idea when trains leave, what is left for other people to guess.
Dear Sir @AshwiniVaishnaw ji, very good to see the development efforts for yeshwantpur rly station. But it's not safe to over crowd this station. Request to consider yelhanka halt for trains to decongest YPR
