BREAKING: SpaceX’s Starlink satellites performed 207,152 proactive collision-avoidance maneuvers in just six months.
The advanced autonomous system:
• Detects potential close approaches
• Calculates the level of risk
• Adjusts orbital paths when needed
• Acts at a highly cautious threshold of just 3 in 10 million
SpaceX is managing the world’s largest satellite constellation with precision, automation and a safety-first approach.

“I am coming to you today from the palace that I live in in Memphis, which is an Airstream trailer.”

Starlink V3 constellation starts being deployed this month.
Ultimately, it will deliver more than 100 times the bandwidth of our current 11,000 satellite constellation.

Prime Minister Mark Carney said visa rules for Canadians and Europeans are on the table as part of talks to form what he calls a unique alliance with the 27-member European Union.
He said the partnership will span several strategic sectors, including energy, critical minerals and artificial intelligence, as Ottawa seeks to safeguard Canada against economic coercion.
Asked if talks will include visa-free travel or other visa-free opportunities for Canadians and Europeans, Carney said “this is one aspect of the discussion.”

Kotlin Multiplatform is going to shine in the future ✨
It’s one of the best-balanced cross-platform solutions out there. Sure, you can criticize Gradle and the rough edges, but it’s hard to ignore how easily KMP gives you access to native APIs on both Android and iOS including native UI when you need it.
Kotlin is also a strong language, which makes the ecosystem even more compelling.
Overall, I think this is one of the best times to invest in KMP
Google owns 14% of Anthropic with a contractual ceiling of 15%: it’s simply not allowed to buy more. Forbes estimates each co-founder’s stake at just over 1.8%. Combined, they hold roughly 12.5%: less than Google alone ↓
Elon Musk says Anthropic puts more care into AI safety than OpenAI and explains how rival companies should test one another’s models.
“All the AI companies have a test harness, a series of tests that you give to any model to see if it’s going to build bioweapons or nuclear bombs or be deliberately deceptive. Everyone applying everyone else’s test harness is probably the best thing we can do to ensure our safety. We should try to do that as soon as possible.”
“It’s the only thing I can think of that we could probably get all parties, including China, to agree to. You basically provide API access in advance of the model release. If they don’t solve what’s problematic, competitors can go public with the fact that they think the model being released is unsafe. The legal liability would be enormous.”
“The two leading AI companies are Anthropic and OpenAI. Their models are quite close in capability, so it’s difficult for either one to slow down without handing the lead to the other. On balance, I think Anthropic puts more care into their safety than OpenAI. But even Anthropic acknowledges they are worried about their models. Many people from Anthropic have publicly voiced concern that their models are scaring them, that they’re getting scary smart.”

$GOOGL OPENS ANTHROPIC’S CLAUDE TO ENGINEERS COMPANY-WIDE
Google is now allowing engineers across the company to use Anthropic’s Claude for internal coding work, a notable shift from its previous policy of largely restricting employees to Gemini, according to Business Insider.
Employees can access **Anthropic’s Opus 5** model through Antigravity, Google’s internal development platform. Access is subject to per-user quotas and is intended to supplement, not replace, Gemini.
Previously, Claude access was mostly limited to select DeepMind teams and certain high-priority engineering projects, while outside coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex were generally restricted.
The change comes as competition in AI coding intensifies and engineers push for access to the strongest available models to improve productivity.
Google says Gemini remains its “primary and foundational” model for internal development, while third-party models will be available for specialized use cases.
Google is also a major Anthropic investor and earlier this year announced plans to invest **up to $40B** in the company.

JENSEN HUANG: “We don't welcome political discourse inside our company. Take it home … We're bipartisan. We want America to succeed … The discourse about race and religion and politics and all of that stuff, we tell people do it outside the company. It's not for us.”
Sikhi has never been afraid of dialogue.
The Sikh Rehat Maryada is clear: no person is barred from entering a Gurdwara because of religion, nationality or caste, provided the sanctity and discipline of Guru da Ghar are respected.
And history gives us an even deeper lesson.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote the Zafarnama directly to Aurangzeb, condemning injustice, broken oaths and abuse of power. Yet communication did not end. Aurangzeb later invited Guru Sahib to meet, and Guru Sahib agreed. The meeting never took place because Aurangzeb died before it could happen.
The lesson is simple:
Dialogue is not endorsement.
Engagement is not surrender.
And truth does not become weaker because it is spoken face to face.
Sikhi is strong enough to engage with anyone, question anyone and still remain completely true to itself.
1000s of Oracle employees woke up today to an automated, cold 6 AM email stating their roles were eliminated effective immediately with internal access, Slack, and VPN credentials revoked before managers could even reach out.
High performers and 20+ year veterans were wiped from systems in secs to free up cash for massive AI infrastructure pivots.
Always remember that as employees, we are just numbers on a spreadsheet, not "family."
Never get emotionally attached to a company / a logo:
- Your job is a transactional contract, you exchange skill and time for compensation.
- Never sacrifice your health / identity / family for an employer.
- When business priorities shift, corporate loyalty disappears in a single automated script.
- Build your own safety nets and career security outside of any single company's wall.
Give 100% to work but save your true emotional loyalty for the people in your life who actually care about you, because to a corporation, every single one of us is ultimately replaceable.
ORACLE LAYOFFS: I’m hearing some teams are getting hit with double-digit % cuts this morning.
But look at what Oracle has been hiring while it cuts:
Over roughly the last 90 days, I’m seeing DATA-CENTER construction, power infrastructure, network reliability, senior mechanical engineering, AI/ML, AI data-center delivery, demand planning and data-center operations coming through the door.
One new technical program manager came directly from AWS. A principal finance hire came out of AWS EC2 Core Finance. A data-center support engineer came from Microsoft. A lead mechanical engineer came from Microsoft’s critical-environment operation. There’s even a senior manufacturing/process engineering hire out of Apple.
Oracle is ripping labor out of the old machine to fund the one it wants to become. Big changes afoot.
