தங்களுக்கு முன்பாகவே பாஜகவில் எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பும் இன்றி, ஒரே இயக்கத்தில் பயணிப்பவன் என்பதால் சில கேள்விகள் என் மனதில் எழுகின்றன.

தங்களின் கடிதத்தில் அரசியல் நாகரிகம், வெறுப்பற்ற மொழி, பண்பட்ட அரசியல் ஆகியவற்றின் அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்தியிருப்பது வரவேற்கத்தக்கது. எந்த அரசியல் இயக்கமும் இத்தகைய மதிப்பீடுகளை மறுக்க முடியாது.

ஆனால், ஒரு சிறிய கேள்வி.

இந்த அறிவுரைகள் அண்ணாமலை ஆதரவாளர்களுக்கு மட்டும்தானா? அல்லது தமிழக பாஜகவில் பதவி மற்றும் பொறுப்பில் இருக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் பொருந்துமா?

ஏனெனில், கடந்த சில மாதங்களாக அண்ணாமலையை தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் விமர்சித்து, அவமதித்து, சமூக வலைதளங்களில் தாக்கியவர்கள் சாதாரண ஆதரவாளர்கள் மட்டும் அல்ல; கட்சிப் பொறுப்பில் இருப்பவர்களும், முன்னாள் நிர்வாகிகளும்தான். அவர்களைப் பற்றி உங்கள் கடிதத்தில் ஒரு வரிகூட இடம்பெறாதது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது.

தாங்கள் கூறுவதுபோல், "ஒரு தலைவரின் அரசியல் பண்பாட்டை அவரது ஆதரவாளர்களின் மொழியே வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது" என்றால், அந்த அளவுகோல் அனைவருக்கும் சமமாகப் பொருந்த வேண்டும்; குறிப்பிட்ட சிலருக்கு மட்டும் அல்ல.

தங்களின் அரசியல் அனுபவமிக்கது குறுகிய காலத்திலேயே பல்வேறு பயணங்களைக் கண்டுள்ளது. எனவே, கொள்கை, தலைமை, நாகரிகம், பண்பாடு, குணநலன், நம்பிக்கை, நிலைத்தன்மை ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றி பேசும்போது, அதே அளவிலான சுயபரிசோதனையும் பிரதிபலித்தால், அந்தக் கருத்துகளுக்கு மதிப்பு சேர்க்கும்.

கடிதங்கள் கருத்துகளை எழுதலாம்; வரலாற்றை அல்ல. வரலாற்றை எழுதுவது மாறாத கொள்கையும், நேர்மையான நிலைப்பாடும்தான்.

On Tuesday, I had the privilege of meeting Thiru Annamalai Ji at his residence and engaging in a lengthy and meaningful discussion on a wide range of issues concerning society, governance, development, and the future of Tamil Nadu.

I was deeply impressed by his clarity of thought, unwavering determination, and steadfast commitment to public service. His ability to articulate a clear vision for the state, coupled with his dedication to the welfare of the people, is truly commendable.

Our discussion reinforced my belief that principled leadership, courage of conviction, and a genuine desire to serve society are essential for bringing about positive change.

I sincerely thank Annamalai Ji for his warm hospitality, valuable time, and insightful interaction. I will continue to extend my unconditional support to all his sincere efforts aimed at the progress, prosperity, and well being of the people of Tamil Nadu.

One thing that became very clear to me after meeting Annamalai is that he is not going to engage in politics the way he did during his BJP years. That phase demanded constant engagement, daily responses, and fighting every battle. What lies ahead seems very different.

What I sensed now is a deep commitment to creating change from the roots rather than chasing visibility at the surface. It is a slower and harder path.

For those expecting immediate ideological declarations or reactions to every issue, patience may be the most important virtue right now. “Patience” was not just a word he used in his first speech and podcast, it is clearly a principle he intends to live by. No knee-jerk reactions. No rush to satisfy the noise of the moment.

However, his fundamentals remain unchanged… his commitment to nationalism, national security, and his respect for Modi ji’s leadership and vision. The mission, however, seems to have evolved: strengthening Tamil Nadu through the lens of nationalism while ensuring Tamil Nadu’s voice and aspirations find their rightful place in the national narrative.

His path appears to be guided by purpose to build a framework meaningful for generations.

2021 Assembly — AIADMK lost power.

2026 Assembly — AIADMK came down to 47 seats.

So why is defeat called “failure” only when it is Annamalai Anna?

Under Annamalai Anna, BJP’s vote share in Tamil Nadu moved from 3.58% in 2019 to 11.24% in 2024. Seat did not come — fair criticism. But vote share, visibility, cadre energy and political relevance clearly grew.

Your problem is not with failure.

Your problem is with the independent growth of Annamalai Anna.

So before calling others “losers”, first audit your own prediction record and the continuous losses of the political side you keep protecting.

What the Critics Are Missing:

The recent @annamalai_k podcast was trolled by many for being "boring" and lacking his usual political punches. Critics also complained that he didn't address key controversies — his remarks on NEET, the North-South tweet and instead spoke about the long-term goal of enrolling 50 lakh members into #WeTheLeaders.

But perhaps they're missing the bigger picture.

The Ground Reality:

The recent change in government, brought about by the people's mandate, has shown that simply replacing leaders doesn't automatically bring better governance.

Leadership without capable systems, disciplined people, and administrative understanding can quickly turn into disappointment.

Running a government is very different from delivering cinematic dialogues or recreating movie moments.

What looks inspiring on screen often collapses when faced with the complexity of real administration.

What Annamalai Is Actually Building:

His focus appears to be different from conventional politics.
Instead of merely building another political party, he seems to be trying to build responsible individuals first — people who join with a spirit of service rather than entitlement, who understand discipline, accountability, and teamwork before aspiring for positions.

If such a cadre is built, governance itself becomes stronger.

A Word for the Critics:

Many of his loudest critics spend more time attacking Annamalai than strengthening their own parties.

If that energy had been invested in improving their organisation, leadership, and grassroots work, perhaps their parties wouldn't remain stuck where they are.

The Bottom Line:

Let Annamalai pursue the path he believes in. Time will decide whether it succeeds or fails.

Those who genuinely care about their own parties would achieve far more by focusing internally rather than obsessing over someone else's journey.

எங்கள் ஊர் ஒரு சிறிய கிராமம் அங்கு உள்ள கிளையில் 2022 வருடம் நான் தான் பூத் கமிட்டி அமைத்தேன் வாரா வாரம் செவ்வாய்கிழமை பூத் கமிட்டி மீட்டிங் நடத்தி வந்தேன். பின்னர் 2023 இறுதியில் பாஜக கொடுத்த பொறுப்புகளிலிருந்து விலகி தொழிலை கவனிக்க ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டேன். காரணம் என் முந்தைய பதிவுகளில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளேன் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பேச விரும்பவில்லை ஆனால் பூத் கமிட்டி 2026 தேர்தல் வரை செயல்பட்டது.

இன்று மதிய உணவிற்காக என் அலுவலகத்திலிருந்து வீட்டுக்கு சென்று கொண்டிருந்தேன் அந்த சமயம் என்னுடைய பூத் பாஜக பொறுப்பாளர் இளைஞர்கள் என்னை நிறுத்தி “அண்ணா அண்ணன் கட்சி எப்போனா ஆரம்பிப்பாரு” என்று கேட்டனர் நான் அதுக்கு இன்னும் நாள் இருக்கு இப்போ என்ன பன்றீங்கன்னு கேட்டேன் “BJP Social Media Team-ல இருந்து கால் பண்ணி வேற எந்த கட்சிக்கும் போகதிங்கன்னு சொன்னாங்க ஆனா நாங்க அண்ணன் இயக்குத்துல பதிவு செஞ்சுட்டோம்னு” சொன்னார்கள்.

இன்னைக்கு அண்ணா வீடியோ பாதிங்களா என்று கேட்டேன் அதில் ஒருவர் “இப்போ தான்னா பாத்தோம் 50 லட்சம் தாண்டுனோன அடுத்தது பத்தி பேசுவோம்னு சொன்னாரு வர நாயித்துகிழம நம்ம ஏரியால கேம்ப் போட்டு உறுப்பினர் சேக்க போரோம்னா எப்படியும் 150 பேர் சேத்திடுவோம் நீங்க கண்டிப்பா வந்திருங்க”என்று சொல்லி சென்றனர்.

கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒருமணி நேரம் அண்ணா பேசிய அந்த காணொளி பல கோணங்களில் என் சிந்தனைகளில் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருந்தன ஆனால் 50 லட்சம் என்ற இலக்கை நோக்கி தேசியவாத சிந்தனை கொண்ட இளைஞர்கள் ஆயுத்தமாகின்றனர். நான் மேலும் அவர்களை மீண்டும் அழைத்து ஊராட்சி தேர்தலில் போட்டியிட முன்வர அறிவுறுத்தி அனுப்பினேன்.

ஒரு சரியான தலைவன் சரியான திசையை காட்டி வழிநடுத்த தயாராகும்பொழுது இயற்கையாகவே நல்லெண்ணம் கொண்ட கூட்டம் அந்த தலைவன் பின்னால் உத்வேகத்துடன் அணிதிரள்வார்கள் என்பதற்கு இதுவும் ஒரு சாட்சி.

இன்று அண்ணா வெளியிட்ட காணொளியில் அவர் போற போக்கில் சொன்ன பல விஷயங்கள் பலருக்கு நேரடி பதில்களாக சொல்லிருக்கிறார் அதை பற்றி அடுத்தடுத்து பேசுவோம்.

My takeaway is simple: He is genuinely interested in bringing change from the grassroots. That is why he is not in a hurry. He is focused on building the basics first.

I see no reason to doubt his intentions. Those who speak ill of him are either jealous or politically biased.

அவரே சொன்னதுபோல பாஜக போன்ற ஒரு பெரிய கட்சிக்குள் இருந்தால், அதுவும் தமிழ்நாடு போன்ற ஒரு hostile ஆன ஈகோசிஸ்டத்தில், அந்த கட்சி சார்பாக பேசியே அல்லது விமர்சனங்களும்கு பதில் சொல்லியே பொழுது முடிந்துவிடும்… அவர் நினைத்ததை செய்ய முடியாது…

எப்போதும் அண்ணாமலை இனி தேசியத்திற்கு எதிராக பேசமாட்டார்… வட இந்தியர்கள் என அவர் போட்டது கணக்கெடுக்க வேண்டும் என போலீசுக்கு அவர் வைத்த கோரிக்கை… இதையும் சீமான் மற்றும் திராவிட அரசியலோடு முடிச்சுப்போடுவது தேவையற்றது… அப்படி திராவிட பாணியை அவர் கையில் எடுத்தால் நாமே அவருக்கு எதிராக நிற்போம் என அவருக்கும் தெரியும்…

அதனால் இனியும் சும்மா நொள்ளை நொட்டை சொல்லாமல், அவர் வேலயை அவரை பார்க விடுங்க… உங்க வேலைய (தமிழக பாஜக) நீங்க பாருங்க… இனிமேலாவது முடிஞ்சா கட்சிய வளர்க்க பாருங்க…
