@usawtfm In Korea we had 2 empty sandbags in our 2.5 ton trucks, to cover the unit numbers if the balloon went up. It was "helpful" in other situations as well.

@it_unprofession My current employer wanted a copy of my HS diploma. I was 50 & happened to scan my diploma years before. After I was hired I was asked to rate the onboarding process. To an employee (starting a new team) we all basically said HS diploma? seriously?

@TheCardConnect When you took the morning slot, I thought it was great to hear from a younger host, rather than “old guys” all my life. The more decisions like this, the more I’ll delete the app of my devices. Not anger just nothing to listen to anymore. Keep us posted on where you land.

@financedystop US expat in the Netherlands. First time in my working life my contract spelled out my work hours 0800-1630. My Dutch manager told me early on when I was working late to finish a project, “this isn’t life & death, it will get done tomorrow.”
