New C-suite compensation idea: 20% of every $ of spend with McKinsey, BCG and Bain gets funded out of the annual exec bonus pot.
An extra 10% if that CXO used to work for the firm in question.

Good evening, members of the board,
I want to make it clear that the views I express tonight are my own. [if you like the post, you're indicating you agree with these views]
I stand before you as a PhD in Education, specializing in designing interventions to improve cognitive functioning. My work has led me to advocate for those suffering from Long Covid, and I am deeply concerned about the equity in health and academic performance in our schools.
We are in a cycle of sickness that is affecting both absenteeism and presenteeism, impacting our students' ability to learn and perform. This cycle is fueled by the persistent presence of SARS-CoV-2, which causes not just 'brain fog' but actual, potentially permanent brain damage. Recent studies show a significant 6-point IQ drop and a 50-80% increased risk of Alzheimer's among those reinfected. Researchers have estimated the damage to be equivalent to 20 years of brain aging.
Furthermore, an estimated 5.8 million children have experienced Long Covid. And yet our district's chronic absenteeism is 38%, and we are doing nothing to stop this train while data continues to pour in showing children and college students with impaired attention, inhibition control, and verbal working memory.
Moreover, repeated SARS-CoV-2 infections make our children, teachers, and staff more susceptible to other airborne diseases. With measles outbreaks lurking around the corner, we cannot afford to relax our safety measures. Yet, we are witnessing a particularly dangerous trend where the isolation guidance has been reduced from 10 days to 5 days to just 1 This relaxation of safety measures is driving us straight into the abyss.
The connection between poor indoor air quality and lower academic performance is well-established. Decades of research have shown that CO2 levels, a marker of poor ventilation, can lead to declines in academic performance. Yet, our current approach is inadequate and to break this cycle, we must prioritize clean indoor air.
Each classroom must be equipped with at least two portable air purifiers to reduce the transmission of airborne diseases. It is unacceptable for teachers to rely on air purifiers funded by parents or out of their own pockets. Equity in all spaces is non-negotiable.
Furthermore, we must pay special attention to high-risk areas like bathrooms and locker-rooms by installing germicidal lights. These measures are essential for safeguarding our community's health and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
It is imperative that we provide informed consent to our students, staff, and teachers about the risks and measures being taken. As a member of this community, I am here to assist in providing that information and ensuring that we make decisions based on a full understanding of the situation.
In conclusion, the time for action is now. We must not be complicit in the face of a silent killer. By taking these steps, we demonstrate strong leadership in protecting the well-being of our community. Let us work together to create a safer, more equitable environment for our students, teachers, and staff.
Thank you.
