The Honorable Minister of Transport.
This is to inform you Sir, that the Abuja/Kaduna train cabins are infested with cockroaches. This is a serious health concern as we all know cockroaches do carry diseases. Sadly this will even cause more infestation as passengers may likely carry them back to their different destinations and that is homes, offices and schools.
May I also seize this opportunity to let you know that some of the toilets are locked for not being functional while the functional ones are ALL broken down and VERY dirty. It is a really sad and sorry sight.
The tiny cockroaches are found creeping on the walls, as I write one just dropped from the wall where I am seated. The other time I saw ladies screaming and jumping off their seats… cockroaches Sir.
A few minutes later I saw my own family of cockroaches. I had to travel standing.
It is that bad…. The canteen walls are all infested.
It is necessary that something is done as soon as possible please.
I pray this reaches the Minister of Transportation , directly or indirectly.
I am on the train right now as I write and I feel very unhappy about this .

The real issue is that the "500 job openings" at Moniepoint do not exist. It's a popular corporate scam where you constantly recruit without actually hiring anyone, because showing a large number of job vacancies while advertising your aggressive recruitment campaign is a growth metric you display to investors. It shows that the company is "growing fast" which means they should invest more money.

"We can't fill 500 job openings" in an absurdly deep job market like Nigeria is just a fintech bro performing for USD to locate him from whichever venture capital or private equity investor he's targeting. It's the same thing as when an NGO lawyer jumps on every trending human rights case without really achieving anything - it's a performance for the oyibo with USD to reward them.
