I think what we are seeing is a Aspie billionaire, freely expressing his underlying moral compass to fix something that he sees is broken. The neurotypical social norms aren’t followed and there is zero concern given about maintaining social connections, even with someone as important as a president. Autistics are guided by what they believe is fundamentally right to them and each issue is independently assessed. This implies they are the least likely to be followers or guided by group think because they do not follow, and may not even see, the neurotypical norms followed by the majority.

ON THIS DATE IN 2011: One of the most devastating tornadoes in the nation’s history directly killed 158 people and injured over 1,000 in Joplin, Missouri. The Joplin EF5 tornado was the first single tornado to result in over 100 fatalities since the June 8, 1953, Flint, Michigan tornado.

The tornado devastated a large portion of the city of Joplin, damaging nearly 8,000 buildings, and of those, destroying over 4,000. The damage—which included major facilities like one of Joplin’s two hospitals as well as much of its basic infrastructure—amounted to a total of $2.8 billion, making the Joplin tornado the costliest single tornado in U.S. history.

I see a lot of people engaging in obviously bias-led opinions of Nancy Mace showing her nude body today.

These people don't really deserve a reaction from me, but I will tell my Truth in hopes it makes at least one person who dehumanizes her or others choose a different path than ignorance & maybe look in the mirror.

Call me a whore, a drama queen, a girl with daddy issues, but I, too, was willing to show my nude body to a courtroom full of strangers.

When my attorney for family court asked if I gave permission to show a video my ex had secretly taken of me if we had to, I said "YES!"

My thinking was that if the judge saw how methodical, how predatory, how severely my rights were violated via that video, she'd immediately grant me full custody, no question. I was/am willing to do anything I need to do to hold these predators accountable.

My ex's attorney kept the video from being shown, but I was willing.

& I was willing for a good reason - the well-being of myself & subsequently my children, to show that I was unafraid of seeking justice no matter the cost, & to get a conversation started in this country about a growing problem.

It's just sad it's come to this for all women violated in this manner.

I have learned (just look at the comments in my pinned tweet), that ignorance, bias, & victim blaming continues to cloud what is a very serious problem happening to good women & keeps change from happening.

My ex-husband wore a mask nobody saw through. Never in a million years did I expect him to secretly record me nude, for years, storing the images & videos like a hoarder until I happened to find one of his many recording devices & his secret predatory behavior was revealed.

I am only 1 of thousands.

Rhetoric like this doesn't help us or our kids.
