@lizzie_harper Hi Lizzie. I used several of your beautiful artworks in my grasslands presentation recently (fully ref of course!). Images inc Arrhenatherum elatius, Dactylus glomerata and Centaura nigra. My peers were in awe of your work as am I. From one nature lover to another, thank you 🙏
@HelenmBradley1@BrynnaWoods @WTSWW Spotted a Common Ink Cap, Porcelain fungus and a beautiful Amethyst Deceiver during volunteering at Bryngarw Park today. Great for the Bridgend Green Network walk on Nov 8th 👍🏼 @BryngarwPark
#FSCfinds Have scoured my photos for insect pictures which I’ve taken over the last few years. 🤞🏼one may be good enough to win a wildlife pack. Had quite a few more but Twitter only allowed me to select 4. Bee beetle has to be my favourite - found at Kenfig NNR, South Wales.
@BryngarwPark Thanks to Keith and Beth for getting out of bed early to lead this guided walk celebrating the dawn chorus. We were rewarded with an orchestra of sounds so well worth the early start! Managed to see my first Siskin 👍🏼 See you all next year! Thanks again.
@OU_STEM@OU_EEE The Carbon Community charity are based in Llandovery, Wales and are carrying out what looks to be similar projects assessing ‘the combined effects of forest microbiome inoculation and the deployment of enhanced rock weathering’. https://t.co/YtKT80jypE
@S112_OU Not sure if anyone was listening to radio 4 this morning but an extract was played from this series and it sounds v.interesting (4 episodes available atm) - https://t.co/LfCaC4Ob6d
@CookeNichola@SharkTrustUK I see @gordonramsey_ has involved himself in the fight against finning. From a chef’s perspective he’s made a documentary on the barbaric act of finning sharks for use in shark fin soup. All about the 💷 again.
@S112_OU 1st tutorial booked, still looking through prep material and working my way through ‘Being an OU Student’ Open Learn course and editing my student profile as I type this reply. Looking forward to starting - although slightly anxious as I’ll be studying U116 alongside 😬
@ocean_magpie I was lucky enough to visit at the end of May - was the seal still using the rib as a sun lounger 🦭☀️ 😄 Was more than willing to pay the extra for the ticket - these places need our help after the impacts of Covid restrictions. Happy Monday!
