@TheHuskyReport_@liammcneeley30 UConn definitely beats Florida if McNeely plays half as good as what was shown here. (And we know what Florida did...) Didn't hear much about his freshman year injury during his freshman season...?
@jschultzf3 Everyone says find your edge, enter trades, take profits, rinse and repeat. It's one thing when your risk is say 2% of 35k on a trade ($700). But, when 2% on $1 million ($50,000), the psychology is what makes this proposition hard...oh with like simultaneous 20 trades on!
Steve Young said, “The principle is competing against yourself. It’s about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before.”
Growth is a constant pursuit, not a one-time event.
Growth happens when you make it a habit.
It becomes a habit when you combine 3 things: Humility, Commitment, and Hard Work.
Success comes when discipline becomes the habit of daily execution.
Goals are the starting point, but it's the discipline and commitment to act on them consistently and relentlessly that separate winners from everyone else.
Team Leaders...
- Lead by example
- Work the hardest
- Are devoted to the team
- Cheer teammate success
- Are incredibly competitive
- Confront issues when needed
- Hold teammates accountable
- Challenge the team to be better
- Connect their teammates together
Choose to Lead.
Studies show that playing team sports is a greater predictor of success for doctors-in-training than test scores. That’s powerful! Team sports are life lessons: leadership, commitment, respect & dedication just to name a few. Learn them & let them lead you to a successful future!
Gregg Popovich said, "It’s not about any one person. You’ve got to get over yourself and realize that it takes a group to get this thing done."
• It takes trust.
• It takes humility.
• It takes selflessness.
It means teamwork is essential to winning as a team.

"Gratitude is a skill.
Gratitude is a skill that if you practice will give you a joyful life regardless of your circumstances.
You can practice it every single day.
Grateful people are joyful people." @CoachMarkPope
"Of course talent matters.
But 'effort is worth twice as much as talent.'
We have better learn to develop their grit.
Because grit is what turns potential into reality."
Grind
Relentlessness
Intensity
Toughness
Grit is not a talent; it's a choice.
