What a deeply stupid article. First, psychoanalysing public figures to attack them is largely considered illegitimate by actual professionals, and the studies cited sound like unreplicable garbage anyway.
Secondly - what the snarky author seems to have missed is that ordinary, non-billionaire people have been working on these visions for decades. Some people actually think progress is worthwhile, instead of writing attack articles for Rolling Stone.
