A man got on a bus. Got into an argument. And never made it home.

According to police, Jonathan Pettigrew was fatally shot after telling someone to stop yelling on a cellphone.

Not over money. Not over drugs. Not over a gang dispute.

A cellphone argument.

We can keep having the same conversation after every shooting, or we can start talking about solutions.

If New York is serious about getting illegal guns off the street, then a $250 gift card isn’t enough.

We need real incentives:

🎓 College grants
📚 Trade school scholarships
📝 Civil service exam credits
💼 Job training opportunities
🏠 Pathways to housing and employment

Because every illegal gun turned in is potentially a life saved.

The question is simple:

How many more people have to die before we try something bigger?

John Ferretti ain’t criticize my MESSAGE… he went straight for a racial stereotype. That tells you everything.

See, when people can’t debate your words, they attack your image. And the fact he chose to compare me to a Black stereotype instead of addressing what I actually said says more about HIM than me. He could’ve picked anybody… but THAT’S where his mind went first. Pay attention. 👀

This is exactly the type of toxic energy that’s been poisoning parts of the labor movement for years. Bitter. Divisive. Angry. No vision. No leadership. Just insults, chaos, and bad vibes. And then they wonder why nothing changes.

If Ferretti’s crew ever wants to actually grow, win, and move workers forward… they better separate themselves from that mentality fast. Because with him steering the ship, they ain’t sailing nowhere but backwards. 🚮

We need a labor movement built on strength, respect, and REAL leadership… not childish insults with racial undertones every time somebody speaks uncomfortable truths.

The moment you hold Democrats accountable for how they treat Black communities… people immediately call you “Republican.”

Why?

Because too many people have been conditioned to believe political loyalty matters more than political RESULTS.

I’ve NEVER been a Republican.
I’ve ALWAYS been a registered Independent.

Because I don’t believe ANY political party is entitled to my vote.

My vote is a transaction.

If a politician, policy, or party is helping working people, poor people, public safety, education, or Black communities… I’ll support it.

If they’re failing us?
I’m going to call it out. Period.

That’s not betrayal.
That’s accountability.

Too many people are emotionally attached to politicians while their own communities continue struggling.

And the moment somebody says:
“Hold them accountable…”

everybody loses their mind.

That’s political tribalism.

Politicians should FEAR losing our vote — not feel entitled to it every election cycle.
