@atShruti If you’re broke in SF because all of the expenses @atShruti outlined, then it’s because of your dumb choices, not out of necessity. There are several options (including sending your kids to public or parochial schools) that are available to you. Be smart !
@atShruti $55k price point and nanny share options in that range, is confirmed data point across 20-30 families. $100k nanny is not basic pricing. Your data set is polluted or skewed.
Same for $4m house… if you want that sure you can get it… there are many single family homes for $2-2.2
