It should alarm every Canadian that the primary use the Liberals have made of their new, backroom, bribe-bought majority has been to ram through legislation that censors the internet, spies on citizens, and lays the groundwork for a virtual surveillance state.
It shouldn't matter who you are or what your ideology is to understand how dangerous these laws are that require the submission of state ID to use social media.
"Protecting children" is the bullshit pretense. The real outcome is tracking everyone's views and online behavior:
As a Japanese watching the UK right now, I have one simple question.
A Sudanese asylum seeker just tried to behead a local man in Belfast. The victim lost an eye.
This comes after years of grooming gangs raping thousands of British girls — gangs that police and councils deliberately ignored because they were afraid of being called racist.
In Japan, even one case like this would have triggered national outrage and immediate policy reversal.
But in Britain, the conversation is still about “not being far-right.”
British people, at what point does protecting your own children become more important than protecting your reputation?
We genuinely do not understand this.
Police: ‘DO NOT share footage' of Belfast beheading attempt on social media
‘We all remember, over the last two years, significant disorder that only led to damage in our local communities’
🚨NOW: Rep. Thomas Massie just stood on the House floor and named what every politician in DC has spent 58 years pretending did not happen
The USS Liberty. June 8, 1967.
34 dead American sailors. 174 wounded. Over 70% casualty rate on a virtually unarmed US ship.
25 minutes of Israeli jets, Israeli rockets, Israeli 30mm cannon fire, and ISRAELI NAPALM ON THE BRIDGE. Then Israeli torpedoes. Then Israel machine-gunned the lifeboats.
MASSIE: "They were intent on leaving no survivor."
Then the part nobody wants you to think about: the Saratoga and the America launched planes to help. The planes were RECALLED. The crew sat there bleeding for 17 hours.
Dean Rusk. Richard Helms. Admiral Moaner. The chief counsel of the Court of Inquiry himself. None of them believed the "mistaken identity" story.
And now you understand exactly why the entire DC machine and Israel lobby has spent the last year trying to primary this man out of existence.
You are not allowed to say the quiet part. He said it anyway.
Honor the crew. https://t.co/XuDLeFF4gJ.
@AlpacaAurelius Someone doesn’t understand correlation vs causation. Lots of women can’t have kids after 40 and those that can likely are significantly healthier already. Also children of women over 40 are much more likely to have birth defects or other abnormalities
Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
@sciohn_fhanne I know Chinese people who came to Canada in the 70’s and 80’s. They worked hard jobs here in the garment industry etc. China was still reeling from the after effects of the cultural revolution. Today the people who stayed in China are often doing better than those who left.
@river_is_nice I don’t know if this is ragebait or you are just dumb. You learn so much more about places and cultures by being immersed in it than by reading an article or watching a video. You learn a lot about your own culture too by seeing the contrasts.
Male officer: "He says he's been stabbed."
Female officer: "We have to check, don't we?"
Male officer: "No."
I worked in emergency care for years... YOU ALWAYS CHECK, even if you think the patient is unreliable.
The guy is on the ground and clearly in respiratory distress, telling you he's been stabbed. What the fuck is wrong with you to automatically assume he's lying?
That's gross disregard for human life and as far as I'm concerned as a non-law person; it's criminal negilence. 💀
