"Leftism" is reactionary moralism that has no meaningful connection to historical Marxism whatsoever, any more than the stink coming off a corpse can tell you something about the personality of the deceased. But even the corpse has long since disintegrated.

The contemporary left are not even the worms that engorged themselves on the rotting flesh. They are imbecilic onlookers who see the writhing mass of parasites that have consumed all but the last indigestible fragments of bone and call it "the real movement which abolishes the present state of things".

But this "movement" that they call "Marxism" is really only that which, having abolished Marxism, ensures the impossibility of a future that would overcome the present state of things.

The "left" are stunted children who have turned this grotesque image into an absolute moral ideal to which all must be made to conform by any means necessary. They are indeed a "death cult" in a far more profound sense than is meant by conservative commentators: they worship the death of freedom, of humanity, itself.
