I don't have much idea about mempool or other advanced tactics - but personally I would see number of holders, trend in twitter, psychological market cap hits (eg: 1M, 10M, 25M, 50M...) etc as some indicators to pull out. Interesting tool I discovered recently -

Safeswap - no no for any degen since it will cost time to ape into a coin meanwhile it keeps pumping, for buying safe stabler coins might make sense but then anyways those are safer and wont need any precautions / kt - a better approach could be to integrate with some erc20 security services which detect things like unlocked liquidity, high taxes, honeypot, etc and don't allow anyone to swap to those tokens
