I’ve caught myself saying the same thing almost every day… and I’m pretty sure I’m driving my wife crazy. 🤣

It’s a strange feeling to long for a place you’ve never been, but that’s exactly what’s in our hearts.

We’re still waiting for that approval letter, and while we trust in God’s timing, the waiting is hard. Some days are harder than others. We pray, we stand firm in our faith, and we remind each other that God has never failed us and He never will. But if I’m being completely honest… we’re ready. We’d happily wake up in America tomorrow morning. 😄🇺🇸

We know starting over won’t be easy. We’ll be building a new life from the ground up, and we’re okay with that. Life has already taken us through really difficult seasons that tested us in every possible way. Those seasons didn’t make us bitter, they forged and refined us. They taught us to trust God wholeheartedly, to love each other no matter what, and to never give up when life gets tough.

We’re not looking for an easy life. We’re praying for the opportunity to build one.

A place where our daughter can dream freely. A place where hard work is valued. A place where we can put down roots, serve our community, and give back to the country that has opened a door for families like ours.

So we’ll keep waiting. We’ll keep trusting. And when that approval finally comes, we’ll praise God just as we have through every day of the waiting.

Until then…

I keep seeing the same before-and-after with thiamine (b1).

An elderly patient, deep in dementia, given high-dose B1, and a month later they are lucid again.

It is not a miracle. It is the most predictable thing in the world once you understand what thiamine does in the brain.

Your brain runs almost entirely on glucose, and glucose only becomes usable energy if it can pass through one cellular gate called PDH. Thiamine is the cofactor that opens that gate.

Low thiamine severely impairs your fuel and energy. The most energy-hungry tissue you own is the first to take the hit.

When researchers measured the brains of Alzheimer's patients directly, PDH activity was down 41% and the next enzyme in the chain was down 57%. The size of that drop tracked how severe the dementia was (Bubber 2005, Ann Neurol).

The brain was STARVING at a gate that is dependent on thiamine.

So why does the blood test say "normal"? I mean none of these people are 'deficient' on thiamine, right?

No, blood is the wrong place to look.

The body can be depleted of circulating thiamine while the standard blood tests still read normal. A normal result does not rule out a starving cell.

So many unrelated conditions seem to get better when you make sure the body has sufficient thiamine, which is honestly pretty hard in the modern world.

Many of my clients have improved so much energy-wise, I've seen many diabetics improve from it, I've seen incredible therapeutic effects in elderly patients.... I'm very bullish on thiamine.
