Father to Jack, Husband to @laurajmoulton, Pugdad to Petunia, and Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. All Tweets are my own.
@Davembmd @DrBonesMD @orthodawg91 I “worked” 6a-6p Monday-Saturday for 5 years…on my medhub…but there are no work restrictions as a staff surgeon, and you are the one on the line, so I’m glad I know how to make decisions when I’m tired and it matters.
@shouldergeek@AAOS1 That was a great course and still have my education principles pinned at eye level next to my computer screen. Sad it’s not back to in person
@SRS_org Start with conservative, PT, lumbar corset, meloxicam. Brace for thoracic curve. What is sanders? Potential tether candidate for thoracic curve? May need in situ fusion of L5-S1. Lumbar curve is flexible.
@rkh_md I’m not looking forward to having to brush my teeth again, it’s really streamlined my morning routine, adding that extra 2 minutes is really going to throw off my day!
@realbrownuncle @Jazmin_C_M On a side note, shame? Really? I am a physician, I am not an institution. There is a team behind and part of every decision I make and procedure I perform. I do not feel shame about being a nice doctor. I don’t sacrifice what is right to be “nice.”
@realbrownuncle @Jazmin_C_M You misinterpreted my tweet @realbrownuncle . FYI: I still can’t practice in 5 states because I am a DO who did an ACGME residency. There were generalizations made about all DOs to my face, as they assumed I was an MD. Just stop the generalizations about every NP and PA and doc
@bone_amie1 @rkh_md @DrMaraK Shadowing my dad was depressing because I knew I’d never be that good. Probably why I started off college as an art major.
