New episode of The Contender!
Congressman @ZachNunn joins me to discuss supporting law enforcement, strengthening opportunities for foster youth, and what the Farm Bill and year-round E-15 mean for farmers and consumers.
I was proud to join the Indiana delegation in contributing to Congress's America 250 Time Capsule, which will be opened on our nation's 500th birthday in 2276.
I chose two items that represent Indiana's impact on America. Indiana Limestone from Bedford helped build some of our nation's most iconic landmarks, including the U.S. Capitol, and reflects the craftsmanship and hard work that have defined generations of Hoosiers. I also included a photo of an Indiana University football helmet commemorating the Hoosiers' historic undefeated national championship season, a moment that brought pride to communities across our state.
Take a hard look at that arrogant grin, America.
This is the face of an illegal alien who came here as a child, got special Obama amnesty in 2014, and repaid America by leading a terror plot against the White House during UFC Freedom 250.
Next time you hear Democrats preach about “compassion” for illegals, remember this smug terrorist smiling in his mugshot — the same man who wanted to turn a celebration of freedom into a bloodbath on the White House lawn.
❌ Democrats ran once great American cities into the ground with crime, drugs, and chaos. President Trump has spent the last year proving what happens when you actually enforce the law, and even the bluest cities in America are seeing historic drops in murder rates.
It was great to welcome Matthew Peiffer of Indiana to the U.S. Capitol for the Congressional Leadership Academy Shadow Day, hosted by the National Foster Youth Institute and the Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth.
After his own experience in foster care, Matthew has become a strong advocate for foster youth and efforts to prevent abuse within the child welfare system. Thank you for sharing your story and for the important work you're doing to help others.
I was honored to meet with Samuel Dixon, a constituent from Indiana's Ninth District and recipient of the Congressional Award Gold Medal. Samuel earned this prestigious honor by completing more than 400 hours of community service, 200 hours of personal development, 200 hours of physical fitness, and a five-day expedition. Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment, Samuel!
Lawmakers at @HouseCommerce are demanding hospitals be held accountable for skyrocketing prices – including @RepHouchin who outlined how opaque pricing allows corporate hospital market dominance to go unchallenged.
See what they said:
This Title IX Month, @RepHouchin is recognizing Brynn O. of Austin, Indiana, for her dedication and accomplishments on the basketball court.
Title IX has opened doors for generations of female athletes and protecting women's sports means preserving those opportunities for young women like Brynn to compete, grow, and succeed.
On Flag Day, we celebrate the patriots who fought for this flag and defended the freedom it represents through every chapter of our nation's story. From our founding to today, that spirit has never wavered.
God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸
June 12, 1987.
President Reagan faced down the Soviet empire with one weapon: American strength.
The wall came down, the Cold War ended, and peace followed.
Strength keeps the peace. It always has!
Our veterans should be able to access critical mental health support when they need it, not just during regular business hours.
I introduced the bipartisan ON TIME Act with @RepMrvan to help ensure veterans at high risk for suicide can receive timely outreach and support from the VA.

NAHB members had an amazing day on Capitol Hill (with meetings still ongoing)! So many members of Congress are eager to discuss #housing solutions and ways to address the #housingaffordability crisis. Here are just a few more pics from hundreds of meetings. #NAHBLegCon
Thanks to Indiana’s long-term care providers for joining us at our nation's capital for @ahcancal's Congressional Briefing 2026 and advocating for the future of long-term care.
We appreciate @RepMessmer@RepHouchin@JeffersonShreve@RepRudyYakym@RepStutzman@RepMrvan@SenatorBanks@RepJimBaird@RepSpartz@SenToddYoung for welcoming us to Washington, D.C. and learning more about how federal health-care policies are impacting those they serve.
At IHCA/INCAL, we look forward to continuing to work with our state and federal elected officials to ensure older Hoosiers and their caregivers receive the support they need and deserve.
.@RepHouchin nails it: “You cannot have a competitive market when one side of the table can hide the price. That’s why legislation like the Patients Deserve Price Tags Act is so important.”
Thank you, @RepJames, for your leadership advancing this important legislation.
This Homeownership Month, President Trump and @HUDgov are delivering REAL solutions to restore affordable homeownership and bring the American Dream back within reach. 🇺🇸
