Young Minds, Inspiring Creativity

During my visit to the World Elephant Day event, I was truly delighted to see the wonderful paintings and artworks created by our young students.

More than 20 lakh students from 21,450 schools across India participated in the World Elephant Day campaign. Out of which nearly 31,000 students participated in the painting competition. Each painting reflected a unique imagination, a deep love for elephants and wildlife, and a beautiful message of conservation. I sincerely appreciate every student who participated and brought their creativity and passion for nature to this initiative. Every young artist deserves appreciation for giving conservation a voice through art.

It was especially heartening to see students from Andhra Pradesh among the winners. In the Junior Category (Classes 6–8), B. Tanvi Praveetha, Plakshita and G. Niharika, all from Visakhapatnam, secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

In the Senior Category (Classes 9–12), S.V.L.N. K. Sharvani, M. Lavanya and S. Sneha Ratna, all from Visakhapatnam, secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

At the National Level, Ujaan B.D.M. Chattopadhyay, Aditi Behera and Harithparans J.H. secured the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

My heartfelt congratulations to all the winners. Your creativity has beautifully captured the spirit of elephant conservation and shown us the power of young minds.

When children create for nature, they inspire a future that cares for it.

A HISTORIC FIRST FOR ANDHRA PRADESH!

A celebration of our magnificent elephants, a national call for wildlife conservation, and a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh.

For the first time, Andhra Pradesh is hosting the national-level World Elephant Day celebrations, bringing together the Government of India, conservation leaders, forest officials, field staff, mahouts and communities to reaffirm our collective commitment to elephant conservation and peaceful coexistence.

This landmark occasion is a recognition of Andhra Pradesh’s growing role in protecting wildlife and preserving our natural heritage.

Heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change Shri @byadavbjp ji for choosing Andhra Pradesh to host this prestigious national celebration. Under the leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @ncbn garu, this landmark occasion has become a reality in Andhra Pradesh.

My sincere thanks to Hon’ble Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, Shri @KVSinghMPGonda ji, for gracing the occasion with his valuable presence and taking the time to be part of this significant celebration.

From Kumki elephants supporting human-elephant conflict management and rescue operations, to Olive Ridley turtle conservation, mangrove plantations under the Great Green Wall, Red Sanders protection, Nagaravanams and eco-tourism, H.A.N.U.M.A.N. wildlife response vehicles, drone-based seed ball dispersal and Wood Banks for artisans, Andhra Pradesh continues to build a strong and comprehensive ecosystem for wildlife and nature conservation.

From protecting elephants to restoring forests, from safeguarding wildlife to empowering communities, Andhra Pradesh is shaping a future where development and conservation move forward together.

సముద్ర కోతతో తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బ తింటున్న ఉప్పాడ తీర ప్రాంత పరిరక్షణకు కీలక ము��దడుగు పండింది. కాకినాడ జిల్లా పిఠాపురం నియోజకవర్గంలోని ఈ తీర ప్రాంత రక్షణ గోడ నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన డిజైన్, సమగ్ర ప్రాజెక్ట్ రిపోర్టు (డీపీఆర్), సాంకేతిక పర్యవేక్షణ బాధ్యతలను ఐఐటీ - మద్రాస్‌కు అప్పగిస్తూ ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి సమక్షంలో బుధవారం మంగళగిరి క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో అవగాహన ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. రూ.323 కోట్లతో ఈ తీర ప్రాంత రక్షణ గోడ నిర్మాణం కానుంది. కేంద్ర ప్రభు���్వ విపత్తు నిర్వహణ నిధి (ఎన్.డి.ఎమ్.ఎఫ్) ఆమోదంతో చేపట్టనున్న ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రాజెక్టుకు రాష్ట్ర విపత్తు నిర్వహణ సంస్థ (ఎస్.డి.ఎమ్.ఏ.) నోడల్ ఏజెన్సీగా వ్యవహరించనుంది. నిర్మాణ పనులను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో అమలు చేసే ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఏజెన్సీగా ఏపీ మారిటైమ్ బోర్డు బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించనుంది.
ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్ నిపుణుల సాంకేతిక సూచనలు, శాస్త్రీయ అధ్యయనాల ఆధారంగా ఉప్పాడ తీర ప్రాంతానికి అనువైన రక్షణ చర్యలను రూపొందించనున్నారు. తీర కోత తీవ్రత, సముద్ర ప్రవాహాలు, అలల ప్రభావం తదితర అంశాలను సమగ్రంగా అధ్యయనం చేసి, వాటికి అనుగుణంగా తీర రక్షణ నిర్మాణాల డిజైన్‌ను సిద్ధం చేయనున్నారు.
నవంబర్ నుంచి పనులు ప్రారంభం
ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్‌తో అధికారిక ఒప్పందానికి సంబంధించిన ప్రక్రియ పూర్తికావడంతో, రానున్న నవంబర్ నుంచి ప్రాజెక్టు పనులను ప్రారంభించ���ందుకు జిల్లా యంత్రాంగం ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తోంది. ఉప్పాడ తీర ప్రాంత ప్రజలు, మత్స్యకార గ్రామాల రక్షణకు ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత కలిగినదిగా అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కాకినాడ కలెక్టర్ శ్రీ ఎమ్.ఎన్.హరేంధిర ప్రసాద్, పొల్యూషన్ కంట్రోల్ బోర్డ్ మెంబర్ సెక్రటరీ శ్రీ శరవణన్, పాడా డైరెక్టర్ డా. ఎన్.వి. శివరామ ప్రసాద్, ఐఐటీ మద్రాస్ ఓషన్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ విభాగం ప్రొఫెసర్ శ్రీ ఎస్.ఎ.సన్నాసిరాజ్, రాష్ట్ర విపత్తు నిర్వహణ సంస్థ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీమతి ఖతీబ్ కౌసర్ బానో, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ మారిటైమ్ బోర్డ్ చీఫ్ ఇంజనీర్ శ్రీ జి.వి.రాఘవరావు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

The forests have protected our Tribal communities for generations, and in return, they have protected the forests as guardians of nature, culture and ancient wisdom. On the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all my Tribal brothers and sisters.

This year’s theme, “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being,” reminds us of the invaluable traditional knowledge passed down through generations and the vital role Indigenous women and communities play in protecting life, health, culture and heritage.

My bond with our Tribal communities is deeply personal. Their affection and trust have always strengthened my resolve to work for their dignity and welfare. On this day in 1942, Mahatma Gandhi’s timeless call of “Do or Die” ignited the spirit of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism in millions of Indians. From every village and town, countless known and unknown heroes rose above fear, united with one resolve, and dedicated everything they had for the dream of a free Bharat.

As we commemorate the Quit India Movement, let us bow in gratitude to those extraordinary patriots whose sacrifices gifted us our freedom. Vande Mataram: The Soul of India’s Freedom Movement

Few words in our nation’s history have inspired as much courage, sacrifice, and patriotism as Vande Mataram. Penned by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, it became the rallying cry of India’s freedom movement, inspiring countless sons and daughters of Bharat to dedicate themselves to the cause of Independence. It stands as a timeless expression of our civilizational ethos, national unity, and devotion to the motherland.

I welcome the passage of this historic amendment by the Parliament and the assent of the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, extending to Vande Mataram, our National Song, the same statutory protection accorded to the National Anthem under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act. I also commend the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji and the dedicated efforts of Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji in advancing this landmark legislation. This significant enactment reflects India’s unwavering commitment to preserving the dignity of its national symbols and honouring the ideals that inspired our freedom movement.

May every rendition of Vande Mataram continue to inspire generations with the values of patriotism, unity, and unwavering commitment to our nation.

National Handloom Day Wishes

Our commitment goes beyond words. JanaSena Party has established a Weavers Development Wing in its organisational structure to promote, protect, and empower the handloom sector.

Under the NDA Government, several initiatives, including free electricity for eligible weavers and the "Nethanna Sevalo" scheme providing ₹25,000 assistance, reaffirm our resolve to safeguard India's invaluable handloom heritage.
