Apartments can have unexpected special levies (for example if a lift breaks and needs replacement) and owners can be slapped with $10k+ from the owners corporation at a short notice. Not being able to put it on a credit card means those will now have to be paid with savings, or alternative financing. I read that in the ACT that is the biggest cause of people losing their homes (strata taking owners to court).

Crowdsec plus Cloudflare is a bit too light and automatically moves users on after a light proof of work. I’m travelling through HK using a local IP and it let me through quite easily. I’ve built and managed some big sites with lots of traffic like the NBL and I think we can help with this one. Please send me a DM if you want to chat.

@levelsio Consider adding the ability to add a passkey as an alternative to the email link. We did this for our SSO product and it reduced a lot of friction.

RAM prices going up create a huge incentive to build memory efficient AI models. The memory efficient models will in turn reduce the value/demand of current hardware, further increasing the odds of an AI bubble crash.

@CJHandmer @TerraformIndies From my understanding you are capturing CO2 as CaCO3, but how does it compare to using natural C sources like biomass or even coal, and making it into methane? Can you leverage the existing global biomass infrastructure instead of absorbing it locally?

I think that one of the challenges with electrostatic motors is keeping the oil in without a lot of seal friction loss. I think a solid state dielectric would be a game changer, or maybe a combo of solid state plus oil, so the risk of arcing is reduced.
