Had the great opportunity to talk about our procedural workflows in the making of Control: The Foundation at EPC2022!

Most artists want to remain in their engine for world building. So I tried to link Houdini to Unity, make it look like just another engine window. Engine agnostic, only unidirectional for now.
No specific plugins involved, just an HDA and some C#. @sidefxlabs#unity3d#houdini

It was raining terribly, so I felt compelled to have a stab at something similar! It's not even half as great, but thanks for the inspiration!
After seeing all the amazing beer and water bottles by fellow VFX aficionados, I could not resist and try something myself. Sorta kinda works pretty nicely!

Could not stop noodling and added a very basic but quite effective lightning system and some stormy weather values to show off cloud dynamics. All still based on a procedural weathermap. #Unity3D#IndieGameDev#HLSL
Spend some more time on giving the cloud setup some more depth. Just two layers for stratus and cirrostratus, more or less at realistic heights. #Unity3d#IndieGameDev
