When you become a mother, death becomes your greatest fear not for yourself, but because you know no woman will ever love and care for your children the way you do.

In October 2024, this brother who just started 100 level messaged me. He was having difficulties with Chemistry. I gave him some general advice that would help any serious student. He thanked me.
I had actually forgotten about it. Then one year later, he reached out again to thank me. He scored A in all three Chemistry courses he took in 100 level. That made me very happy. When I checked his CGPA, I saw 4.43. I became so excited that I made the promise in the second picture. I told him I would refund his tuition if he could push his CGPA into first class. I also promised to keep paying his tuition until he graduates, as long as he maintains first class.
He just messaged me yesterday. His CGPA has now gone above 4.5. I felt a real rush of happiness. Then I remembered the promise. Anyway, we do not go back on our word here. The promise still stands.

The Founder, Lead Facilitator of Islamic Tales for Kids and my amiable wife @Omonegho04 was at Eid FestLagos 7.0 to facilitate two sessions with the kids at the event. It was yet another successful outing, blessed and memorable event for the kids who were present; and beyond learning many things about their faith, they had unforgettable fun.
If you have a group of Muslim kids or similar events where kids can learn and have fun, please feel free to book an appointment with Islamic Tales for Kids.
My greatest cheerleaders have always been my husband and my dad.
Dad, you were my favourite. I still remember when I shared the news about Eid Fest with you ,you were so excited. You said, “Ohh, that thing wey dem dey do abi, to celebrate Eid… baby girl, my baby girl.” Then you told me, “Alhamdulillah, just continue praying and you will go places.”
Hubby too… you always say this: “Baby, you were made for this.” You constantly support me and push me to do better, always reminding me that I can do it.
When the news of my dad’s death came, I felt so empty… and honestly, I still do. But I am holding tightly to the rope of Allah, trusting Him for ease in everything. I didn’t want to go for the event because I felt I couldn’t handle it. Eid was very different for us this time , for the first time. I watched my siblings break… and still breaking. I saw my mum trying to stay strong while grieving. We are all at a very difficult point.
But my husband said just one thing: “You can do this.” He encouraged me and told me, “Just go and do it.”
Alhamdulillah Rabbil Alameen… I went, and it went well. I will continue striving for growth, and by the will of Allah, I will get there.
For every reward I receive from everything I do in line with the teachings of Islam, may that reward reach me, my husband and children, my dad (as Sadaqah Jariyah), my siblings, my mum, my extended family , both mine and my husband’s ,my stars and their parents @Islamictalesforkids my friends who have stood by me in one way or another, my assistants @ IslamicTalesforkids and every good person out there. Aameen.
May Allah, in His infinite mercy, fill our lives with joy and happiness.
If only you were alive today… I can only imagine how happy and proud you would be. May that happiness reach you and give you warmth . Aameen.
I love you and miss you so dearly DAD🤍
