Agree 💯.I feel sometimes if I can give personal advice to each aspirant PhD student. Unfortunately not possible. Also to postdocs who are coming back to India for faculty position...........that institute is not everything. look for lab (PhD) or environment (faculty).

Just saw a tweet saying “Ppl do their PostDoc frm 🇮🇳 bcoz they can’t get it abroad.” This statement is absurd, disrespectful, and untrue. I know MULTIPLE such people who could easily get (or had) a PDF offer/s from abroad but chose to stay back in India.
