Due to my  leg injury ,and continuous operations I am out of active journalism. However my analysis that NS will eye for next general election, and it will happen in a year or Two. Rest Maryam bibi becoming CM of Punjab tells that NS is backing  Maryam as the next PM.

Elections were deliberately made controversial and NS was kept out of the game by the powers that be. It will be interesting to see how NS will appear successful after not making Gen but also Malik Riaz his enemy.

Astonishing to see how politics is being taught to kids. My kids studying in a Pvt school wre forced to write an essay on IK as a human right activist and leader. I objected why not Asma Jahangir or Edhi or a pol leader of any party,the answer was pack kids bag or write on IK.

Iftikhat should have been sent 1 down instead of Babar. After Fakhar,only Ifti has the ability to hit sixes. One wonders why Asif Ali is not playing at 4th or 5th position as he is even more clean hitter of the ball than iftikhar to spin .Asif should have been selected for WC.

@SardarSalaar Then you should cover domestic cricket , Asif Ali hits spinners way beyond ifti, it's only Babar and fear of him. Once given a chance if he can play 8 to 10 matches at 1 down or at 5th he can problem his mettle.

Sharif is back and he remains the only leader to survive the third assault of estab.There can be questions raised on his anti-estab narrative but in a controlled system not even the likes of Bhutto and Bibi were able to survive.NS perhaps is the strongest of all the pol leaders.
