Netflix and The Default Bias

Humans are inherently lazy. Netflix’s "Auto-play" feature utilizes the path of least resistance.

By making the continuation of a binge the default option, you have to actively work to stop watching, rather than actively deciding to continue

Discomfort is just market feedback telling you something difficult might be valuable.

You want to be the person who distinguishes between productive discomfort and stupid suffering, not the person who treats all discomfort as signal to quit or all discomfort as signal to persist.

The biggest difference between decent copy & great copy:

It's not creativity. Neither is it flow.

It's clarity.

All great copies have clarity.

ADs, Sales Pages, Content, Lead Magnets, whatever it is that you do, make sure the copy has clarity.

Clarity makes them act.

If the reader finishes reading and their first thought is "interesting" instead of "I need this," you wrote feel-good content, not copy.
