📌 Heres why the “crisis” at the border never made sense to me—Here’s the size of CBP (328 ports in 22 countries) and what they did in each SINGLE day of 2022 (over a million travelers, plus merch, containers, etc over land, sea, train, air). Yet bussing a few people who show up at the river is a logistic impossibility? And what does the concept or image of “too many” arriving mean in this context? Are the agents getting sick of exhaustion? Are they being hospitalized from the sheer level of work? Are the buses breaking down from too many trips?
