Day 11 - considering new product 🤔

Now I know some people may think I’m too quick to shut this product down.. However.

- content is hard to rip as a lot of competitors are branded. I’m too early into my journey to waste money on UGC, and the niche means I couldn’t film myself with the product.

- hard to increase AOV. This product is isn’t something you’d buy more than one of, and it’s really hard to find a product to sell along side it

- My main competitor has over 750 ads running on FB. I think they just have a massive market share and this early into my journey I am going to find it really hard to compete

Overall on this product test I am about £-50. But before this test I didn’t know how to make a website, I didn’t know how to run ads, I didn’t really know how to make creatives.

This is my first ever product test, and how many people find their winner on their first test?

I might be giving up on this product, but I won’t be giving up on the journey.

I’ve seen a product I think I want to test next, there is 3/4 competitor doing big numbers but only about 250 ads between them.

Bro I am the classic example of thinking you’re being productive when you’re not 😂 I must of watched 1000s of hours of YouTube videos. I’m 26 and have wanted to do ecom since I was about 22😂

My problem is I was too pussy to risk my salary into ads, I was scared to lose it.

I started TikTok shop affiliate in November and I made nearly 4k, spent a little bit of some new clothes etc and decided the rest I was putting into ecom.

But I am a complete beginner bro when it comes to ecom. Before this product id never ran an ad or anything, just promoted some shit on TikTok shop and a couple vids banged

Day 10 - First day no sales 😩

After my best day so far yesterday in terms of sales and profit, this one is tough!

I know in the grand scheme of things this is a minor loss, however I felt I was on a roll until this.

I don’t know what’s happened, nothing has changed on my website, and I have had traffic 🤨

Uploading new creatives and a new angle today ready for tomorrow.

I’m also going to up my ad spend. Fuck it, I wanna find out if this is going to be a winner or not

Can I class this as trenches? 😂
