Hey @AxisMaxLifeIns
I have been following up with the customer support team for the past two weeks to get the excess premium paid refunded to my bank account.
But, I am not sure why the process is taking so long !!???
Can you help to escalate / expedite it ?
@JioCare I want you to escalate this to the concerned team so that I can get the Air Fiber installed today.
Can you do it or do I need to file a case now due to the lack of service ?
Even the grievance officer hasn't replied to my mail.
Hello @JioCare
I have paid (INR 4,444) for a new connection of Jio Airfiber but it's been 5 full days and no one has come for installation or even contacted me.
so can you please refund me the amount or atleast send someone to install this ?
Maybe, if you walk the talk by taking your whole department for a drive on this bridge, you folks might just discover what the word 'suddenly' means ...
The flyover does not “suddenly narrow.” The transition from 4 lanes to 2 lanes is not a design flaw, but is based on available road width constraints, and future network planning.
As per planning, the flyover has been designed with two lanes for Bhayander East and future connecting two lanes for Bhayander West. Since the Bhayander East arm comes first along the alignment, the 4-lane configuration presently transitions into 2 lanes. The remaining two lanes on the outer side are planned as part of the future extension towards Bhayander West across the Western Railway line.
Up to Golden Nest Circle, where five major roads merge and traffic volume is high, a 2+2 lane flyover integrated with the Metro, along with slip roads on both sides, has been provided to disperse traffic effectively.
Beyond the junction, towards Bhayander East, the available right of way reduces as per DP. Accordingly, a 1+1 lane flyover with dedicated up and down ramps has been constructed along the median to provide uninterrupted movement towards Railway Phatak Road.
This design enables smooth crossing of one of the busiest junctions in the Mira–Bhayander region while accommodating on-ground constraints.
Provision has been kept for future widening, wherein the outer side of the flyover on both carriageways will be extended by an additional 1+1 lane to ensure improved east–west traffic continuity. The proposal is currently at the planning stage and will be taken up in coordination with MBMC, after obtaining approvals from the competent authorities.
At present, the flyover has been designed primarily for traffic dispersal and congestion reduction in the Mira–Bhayander area. Necessary safety measures have been incorporated, including rumble strips, delineators, adequate signage, retro-reflective tags, directional boards, and anti-crash barriers.
Traffic police guidance is being actively sought for any additional vehicular safety measures prior to opening the flyover for public use.

In what is the longest post I've written this decade, I write about the Jane Street Scandal.
There is a lot of drama in it, mostly because I don't have the time to make it shorter. But we look at:
- was it kosher?
- was regulation absent?
- the tax thing

email systems engineer here. many systems put a 30 MB limit on individual emails, and you need to leave a buffer for the body and headers of an email.
“but that’s a 3.8 MB buffer! a typical html email is only like 50 KB!!”
true, but many (older) systems cannot handle binary data in emails, so it is converted into 7-bit ASCII. this makes a 26.2 MB binary file 29.94 MB.

🚨BREAKING: Resident doctors of Goa have given a 48 hour ultimatum to the Health Minister, otherwise GARD will go on indefinite strike!
Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane tried to give a political masterclass at Goa Medical College (GMC) yesterday following the 2 Rs toolkit for cheap political publicity:
1. March into a casualty ward with your camera crew.
2. Bark orders at the doctor on call.
3. Declare yourself the people’s messiah.
But he forgot that doctors have had enough of this political hooliganism!
Resident doctors of Goa have now given a 48 hour ultimatum to the Health Minister, otherwise the poor people of his state will have to suffer if GARD goes on strike!
🚨 For those unaware, here’s what has happened in the last 24 hours:
A doctor at Goa Medical College Casualty has become a scapegoat, all thanks to Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. In a shocking viral video likely spearheaded by his PR Team, Rane stormed into the hospital camera crew in tow and publicly humiliated and suspended the doctor, simply for following established medical protocol by refusing a routine Vitamin B12 injection in casualty.
To gain cheap publicity, the minister arrogantly shouted at the doctor:
✅“Put your hands down!”
✅“Lower your mask!” (despite ongoing COVID threats)
✅“I’ll suspend you for two years!”
Here’s the reality: Vitamin B12 injections aren’t emergencies. Casualties are meant for urgent, life-threatening cases, not political video-ops.
The moment that video hit social media and gained public criticism instead of applause, Rane’s PR team aka “political chappris started damage control.
A carefully vetted, hypocritical apology followed, pretending concern and empathy. This isn’t compassion. It’s political hooliganism. Such stunts steadily erode public trust in doctors. It’s not just wrong, it’s dangerous and we cannot take this lightly.
The Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD) has issued a powerful 48-hour ultimatum demanding:
✅ Immediate revocation of the suspension with fair inquiry.
✅ Public apology by Minister Rane.
✅ Ban on filming inside emergency patient-care areas.
✅ End of VIP culture & political bullying in hospitals.
If demands aren’t met: GARD goes on indefinite strike.
Rane’s actions are calculated abuses of power. Ministers must remember they’re elected to serve, not intimidate.
Hooliganism belongs on the streets, not in hospitals. If Rane has any decency left, he must immediately resign or issue an unconditional apology.
We must stand together as doctors, patients and citizens against this dangerous political circus destroying country’s healthcare system and show these miscreants the place where they actually belong!
