@Chiamaka_94 I generally agree with you about the gifts and, especially of course, about the "more excellent way" of love. I would say, though, per 1 Corinthians 12:31, that Paul refers there to gifts with the widest benefit to the church. And he may be referring back to 12:28.

@Protestia Perhaps the majority of the folks in these churches are spiritually dead, without God, and without hope. Others might be born again and in need of good teaching, which they won't find there.

@Alexandra4Trump @MiStormChasers I believe it. Alcohol was not unknown to in the athletic department either. Our AD was an alcoholic that would show up to away games pretty buzzed. An empty six-pack was found in the coach's office trash. That kind of stuff. It was a different era.
