People say you shouldn't take life seriously because you will die.
They're wrong.
That you will die is precisely why you must, absolutely, take it seriously.
Every moment, fragile, precious, glorious, only deserving of being spent with the most ferocious, burning intensity, with the acute ever-present awareness of death in the background.
Because *this is it*.
--
It's by not taking it seriously that the moments go by, wasted, as they drift away like some meaningless, distant blur.
Where all that's left of the moments will be but a sad, hollow day when you finally wake up only to see your whole life gone.
--
Taking life seriously, is leaving no room for the bullshit, for the half-assed efforts and situations that don't serve you, like saying 'yes' when you mean No.
It's realizing there's just this one damn wild shot to make this the most beautiful, magnificent masterpiece there ever has been.
A life you lived, and meant.

The time on your ticket to the train of eternal sleep is approaching, fast, and make no mistake, no passengers will be left behind.
Take life seriously, before it takes you.
AI Labs, 2024: We didn't steal your content; we just trained our model to learn! 😂
AI Labs, 2026: the Chinese are stealing our IP!!! Daddy Trump protect us!!!! 😂😂
Also, AI Labs, 2026: yeah, we stole your content — here’s $1.5b / < 1% of our market cap. 😂😂😂
AI Labs 2027: We're going open source, open weights and selling tokens for $1 per one billion
We have information that Moonshot AI distilled Anthropic’s Fable for the development of its K3 model.
To do this they developed a sophisticated internal platform to conduct large scale distillation against U.S. models, allowing them to quickly switch between multiple methods of access to avoid detection. Moonshot AI has also acquired GB300-equipped servers and has accessed GB300s in Thailand, likely to train its AI models.
The United States strongly supports the free and fair development of AI, including a thriving competitive ecosystem that spans frontier models, specialized systems, open-source frameworks, and open-weight models. Legitimate AI distillation used to create smaller, more efficient models plays a vital role in this open innovation ecosystem. However, large-scale, covert industrial distillation aimed at stealing proprietary U.S. technology and undermining American research is unacceptable.
@deanwball The only thing you should be thinking about is how to put equals amounts of AI into everyones hand, so no one whatsoever is more powerful than another, and no group could ever rise above the collective.
Data stolen from humanity, should go back to humanity.
@lulumeservey You can only differ in your opinion so long as it is still within 'safe bounds of acceptable opinion' by some sufficiently large group of other people. Otherwise, you just get ostracized and trashed to the ground.
As such, one still ought carefully select what one publicly says.
Turns out Korean court eunuchs lived 14-19 years longer than kings just by getting castrated (bye testosterone)
It might just be time to snip, snip @bryan_johnson 😂
Definition of investable. Who wouldn't bet on him?
Deep subject understanding, literally *invents* & builds the tech, understands the market implications & context his invention exists in, a strategic GTM plan and knows how to communicate well & with clarity.
Impressive af
@adamlyttleapps Ads can be good for exposure & brand presence. It compounds differently and not in a linear fashion.
Also, if you have a concrete competitor, you could hyper niche down to advertise JUST to their customers.
That aside, influencer campaigns can be way more effective than ads.
