@SamBourne14 What worries me is that no one is coming up with the here and now solution. New boats are a year or more away. Pier rebuilds are 3-5 years, surely. Is the answer not procuring or leasing existing vessels in the short term?

@Alison_S_Taylor @STVNews @CalMacFerries I appreciate the response, Alison. There needs to be a here and now solution, too, however. That likely means existing boats chartered / procured immediately, surely? Waiting for new, bespoke ferries is a year away and rebuilding piers is 3-5 years, away realistically.
