MYTH: We don't have a solution to nuclear's "waste problem"
REALITY: Nuclear waste isn't a problem. In fact, it’s the best solution we have to meeting our energy needs while protecting the natural environment!
Here's what you need to know:
@ThisDotJohn @LukeMiani I appreciate your admission of error. And a full article, not just a tiny “correction” hidden away where no one can see. That’s all too rare in journalism today.
This is a significant point. I was at a con early in B5's history, pre-Bester, and I mentioned Walter was going to appear in the show, and the crowd *booed* because I was surrendering to Trek-ifying the show and selling out and this would destroy it.
The more things change....
.@straczynski When you did Babylon 5.0, you had Harlan Ellison as conceptual consultant. Harlan is unfortunately no longer available, but I hope you will have some heavy-weight SF authors involved in the new series.
Happy #RocketFridays 🚀!
This week, we've got an awesome video.
To prepare for a flight with @ZandefDeksit's #LunarExoCam payload, we simulated a lunar landing & rotated #Xodiac to practice "shaking off" the ExoCams—validating its ability to capture footage of lunar landings.
.@WilliamShatner We‘ve fallen behind in the space race. Any comment on your Russian competition? She’s prettier than you. (I know it hurts, but I have to be honest.) You’re going to have to win this one by sheer talent. We’re counting on you, Bill!

Christopher has traveled to 70 countries, co-owns pizza restaurants & oh yeah, works on the Dream Chaser team! We’re learning about his work securing a partnership w/Spaceport Cornwall, plus how an engineering background translates into pizzeria ownership. https://t.co/gcTtTN5qGo
"#BlueOrigin confirms it’ll give #StarTrek captain William Shatner a suborbital ride" by @GeekWire / @B0yle - now confirmed: if successful, Shatner will be oldest person to space, and first Star Trek actor to go to space. https://t.co/cbMIdo3orW #NewShepard#NewSpace#business

I've had several questions about why there are no photos of Inspiration4 after orbit. It's a private mission, and their choice. Families are in regular contact and all is well. There will be some events. The video will eventually show up on Netflix. But this is not NASA, folks.
SSI 50: The Space Settlement Enterprise is coming up fast.
This weekend is your last chance to register if you want lunch tickets.

It makes no sense to define what an object is based on where it is found.
If I find a ribeye in the produce section of the supermarket, that doesn't make it produce, or not meat.
@DrPhiltill I still think that orbital eccentricity is an issue for Pluto, or should be. Size isn't everything, but the planets all fall within an orbital plane, within 10 degrees, correct?
Major milestone coming up: next week we're relocating our carrier aircraft, WhiteKnightTwo, to her new home at @Spaceport_NM. She will be the first of our flight vehicles to relocate to the "Land of Enchantment."
NASA just selected Northrop Grumman to build the habitat module for its Gateway lunar space station. Bob Richards, VP of strategy for NG's advanced programs will speak on our habitat panel at SSI50: The Space Settlement Enterprise Sept 9-10 in Seattle. https://t.co/7snzx938uK
Rob Meyerson was president of Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin for 15 years. His new venture, deLaLune Space, focuses on lunar resources.
Hear about it from him at SSI 50: The Space Settlement Enterprise, Sept 9-10 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. https://t.co/ZsS2W3Bjie
