पिंपरी चिंचवड: प्रतीथयश ट्रॅव्हल्स कंपनी ‘वीणा वर्ल्ड’च्या निष्काळजीपणामुळे भोसरीतील एक कुटुंब उद्ध्वस्त झाले आहे. लेह येथे फिरायला गेलेल्या पर्यटकाची प्रवासादरम्यान अचानक प्रकृती खालावली. मात्र, त्याला वेळेवर उपचार न मिळाल्यामुळे त्याचा मृत्यू झाला. (Pune News)

पत्नीने केलेल्या पाठपुराव्यानंतर अखेर ‘वीणा वर्ल्ड’च्या टूर मॅनेजरसह दोघांवर लेह पोलीस ठाण्यात मृत्यूस कारणीभूत झाल्याप्रकरणी गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे. शिवाजी गंगाधर गांगर्डे (वय ४४) असे मृत्यू झालेल्या पर्यटकांचे नाव आहे. त्यांची पत्नी तारामती गांगर्डे (रा. आळंदी रोड, भोसरी) यांनी या प्रकरणी फिर्याद दिली आहे.

वीणा पाटील हॉस्पिटॅलिटी आर्या हॉलिडेजचा टूर मॅनेजर धीरज चौधरी, परस्पर गोळी देणारे पर्यटक डॉ. अमितकुमार जैन (रा. लालबाग, मुंबई) यांच्यावर गुन्हा दाखल झाला आहे. यापैकी धीरज चौधरी आणि डॉ. अमितकुमार जैन या दोघांवर भोसरी पोलीस ठाण्यात गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला. त्यानंतर हे प्रकरण तपासासाठी लेह पोलिसांकडे पाठविण्यात आले.

A woman, who lost her husband during a holiday trip with Veena World, has lodged a police complaint against the tourist company for alleged negligence. According to the information, the couple was on a tour to Leh when the husband fell ill. His condition deteriorated due to the alleged lack of medical assistance. The deceased has been identified as Shivaji Gangadhar Gangarde (44). His wife, Taramati Gangarde, initially filed a complaint with the Bhosari police, but now, it has been forwarded to the Leh police for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tourist’s demise.

The accused named in the case are Dheeraj Chaudhary, the tour manager associated with Aarya Holidays, the Veena World’s branch office in Pimpri, and Dr Amit Kumar Jain, a tourist from Lalbagh, Mumbai. “A suit has also been filed in the court seeking compensation from Veena World for my husband’s death due to negligence,” Taramati told Pune Mirror.
