By accepting the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, the Ram Mandir Trust has effectively accepted that "Chanda Chori" reports that have horrified the nation for the past month are indeed true.

It is welcome news that the sacred Mandir of Lord Ram is finally being rid of those who have been looting it for years.

But that is nowhere near enough.

It is absurd that this announcement came from the Treasurer of the Trust – the very person responsible for overseeing its finances, ensuring transparency, and safeguarding its assets. He cannot wash his hands of responsibility, nor can any other member of the Trust, under whose watch this mega-racket flourished for years.

The absurdity does not end there. Krishna Mohan, the RSS's East Uttar Pradesh incharge, has been handed the charge of General Secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust despite serious reports about his own role in trying to cover the scam. Instead of being rewarded with greater responsibility, he should have been thrown out of the Trust.

The country does not need piecemeal resignations. It deserves a complete dissolution and overhaul of the Trust, and every one of its members must face an independent, Supreme Court-supervised investigation.

Accountability should also not end with the Trust.

It must also extend to Narendra Modi, who constituted the Trust and appointed many of its members; to the Yogi Adityanath administration, which allowed this loot and dacoity to persist for years without effective scrutiny; and to the RSS-VHP mafia, which has exploited the name of Lord Ram to enrich itself at the expense of crores of Indians for decades.

नरेंद्र मोदी ने 14 अप्रैल 2026 को दिल्ली-देहरादून एक्सप्रेस वे का उद्घाटन किया था।

लेकिन 12,000 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बने इस एक्सप्रेस वे में 2 महीने बाद ही बड़े-बड़े गड्ढे हो गए।

ये दिखाता है कि इस एक्सप्रेस वे को बनाने में जमकर भ्रष्टाचार और पैसों का बंदरबांट किया गया है।

ये पहला ऐसा मामला नहीं है, पूरे देश में पुल हो या सड़क, हाईवे या पानी की टंकी, रेलवे स्टेशन हो या एयरपोर्ट की छत- हर ओर इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर ढह रहा है।

कुल मिलाकर बात साफ है कि मोदी सरकार देश और जनता के लिए घातक है।

अयोध्या में जमीन घोटालों और चढ़ावा चोरी करने वाले इन 'चढ़ावा चोरों' को राम भक्तों के आने से डर क्यों लग रहा है?
